There's Something So Poetic About a Musician Going to War
There's something strangely poetic about seeing someone whose life is connected to music suddenly stepping into the battlefield.
Music is supposed to be about expression, emotion, and beauty, while war is almost the complete opposite. Seeing those two sides exist in the same person makes the character feel even more tragic and human.
Arcane really knows how to make these small contrasts hit hard.
Oke zaheer unlock ancient technique which definitely increase his mobility 100% than anyone else, Ming-hua actually play with her speed & agility then ghazan more like AOE. Even then all of them kinda hard to scale in one aspect only due how unique they're all.
But combustion bending was originally power like a "bomb" which very destructive, And she very versatile with that and she still can regularly firebending.
He's actually can balance between work & family. He has flaw but that's make his character more compelling.
If I'm wrong, prove me wrong 😗
She's Absolutely Stunning. ⭐
I really love the Arcane series, and it reminded me that TLOK Book One: Air explored a somewhat similar political theme. You could compare Zaun/Equalists with non-benders and Piltover with benders, although there are still many differences between the two.
I think the conflict in TLOK could have been explored even better because the concept itself was really interesting, especially since the story focused on a single city. Personally, I think they should have kept the original council members and simply added one more seat for Raiko as a non-bender representative to help address non-bender concerns and reduce the chance of radical movements growing.
One thing I found interesting was Tarrlok's idea of creating a task force to stop or investigate Amon before it was too late. Considering how difficult the Equalist movement was to control, his concerns were understandable. Tenzin's perspective also made sense because if the authorities suddenly took extreme action against them, it could make other non-benders feel threatened or targeted.
Of course, we later see Tarrlok's own questionable actions, but I still wish the other council members had expressed their opinions more instead of staying silent during those discussions.
Book One is still my favorite book of TLOK so far. I don't know exactly why, but Republic City feels so iconic to me, especially because when I was younger, Book One was the only season I watched directly on TV. It holds a special nostalgic place for me.
The best intro imo it's just feels myth bcuz it's all about avatar.
I can't believe she actually have a haters like a really toxic one. That i found on TT 😭😮💨
Tbh some ppl complain korra just straight up boxing in all her elements but if u look closely it's not. She very versatile with waterbending (to bad TLoK introduced to multiple skilled waterbender).
Do you guys think 26 episodes will be enough to tell the story of Avatar: Seven Havens?
Personally, I think it might be enough because the franchise has already established the fundamentals of the Avatar world through The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. We already understand bending, the Avatar Cycle, spirits, and how this world works.
Because of that, I don't think the series needs to spend too much time explaining the basics again. It can focus more directly on the new conflicts, the state of the world after Korra's era, Pavi's journey, and the mysteries surrounding the Seven Havens.
Of course, it depends on the pacing and how much world-building the creators want to explore.
What do you think? Is 26 episodes enough for this new Avatar story?
After the ending of Arcane, I'm really curious about what Mel's next journey in Noxus will be.
Her powers are no longer a mystery, so I wonder what the main conflict for her character will be. Is it about mastering her abilities, understanding where her powers come from, or something much bigger involving Noxus and its politics?
I'm also curious about the mysterious mage Mel encountered. Was that person connected to the Black Rose, Noxian magic, or something else entirely?
Noxus has so much unexplored potential, and Mel seems like the perfect character to introduce us to that side of the world.
What do you think Mel's goal will be in Noxus?
*I kinda feel noxus was more magical theme looking by the cinematic videos. But i like it maybe we just first time only seeing the piltover and never one inch outside of that. I really like the new characters the spider girl & assassin's was my favorite but i would like too see more who's the best mages in this world.
Kya fights with a traditional and balanced waterbending style, focusing on defense, control, and precision. Meanwhile, Ming-Hua uses a completely unconventional style, relying on speed, mobility, and unpredictable attacks with her water arms.
Before everyone jump on kya being a healer thing! She's not she is a master & warrior ok it's stated at least in secondary material besides being a master was bare minimum outside the airbending.
Can't believe there plenty of jinx haters on TT 😭
I don't really like her in S1 but i wouldn't even hate her
Pure Waterbending...... Kinda dope fight ngl.
Definitely imo TOP-5 Waterbender Battle. What's y'all think?
My bias character so far. the rumor say that he's gay? 🫣😀
I have no problem with arts or animation. I get it ppl complain about it but that's the same with korra too they're all probably focus on one aspect of the show for downplaying everything.
After rewatching Wan's story, I realized something.
Wan was just a young man from the lowest class, struggling to survive. He fought for what he believed was right and tried to create a more equal world, but his choices ultimately led to tragedy. Even so, his story became the foundation of the Avatar Cycle.
I think many Avatar fans forget what Wan's story represents. The Avatar isn't meant to be perfect they're meant to strive for balance and peace. Sometimes they succeed, sometimes they fail, and sometimes they even die trying. But the cycle continues because every Avatar inherits a world shaped by the choices of those who came before.
That's why I think it's unfair to immediately call Korra "the worst Avatar" based only on the Seven Havens synopsis. Whatever happened before the new series, it's obvious she was trying to stop something. We simply don't know the full story yet.
One thing we do know is that Korra's legacy still exists. Seeing two Airbenders mentoring Pavi and Nisha is proof that the Air Nation she helped restore continues to thrive generations later.
Personally, I think Seven Havens will show us the tragic consequences of Korra's final years. Many people within the story may hate or misunderstand her, but that's what makes the narrative more realistic. History often judges people before the truth is known.
I also have one hope: I don't want the connection to the past Avatars to return. If the creators are trying to tell a story about moving forward instead of relying on the past, I think that's a powerful message. Learn from history, but don't live in it. Stand on your own, keep moving forward, and prove yourself.
Maybe by the end of Pavi's journey, both the characters and the audience will finally understand Korra's true legacy.
I seem to be obsessed with them is there anyone like me? 😉
After the Arcane finale, I honestly can't stop thinking about Noxus. Do you think we'll eventually get a new series centered around Noxus?
I'm especially curious about Mel's future. Now that she's heading back to Noxus, there's so much potential to explore its politics, noble houses, military, the Black Rose, and everything happening behind the scenes.
Noxus has always been one of the most fascinating regions in the League of Legends universe, and Arcane only made me want to see more of it. If Riot ever makes another series, I really hope Noxus is next.
What do you guys think?
Interesting... So Waterbending has Spiritbending, Airbending has Spirit Projection (and arguably immortality/agelessness through spiritual mastery). Could technique be Firebending's spiritual counterpart?
Is there recourse officially explain this more i want to know more? Byw who she?
