You can bring small personal umbrellas to the FIFA World Cup game tonight

I just called BC Place to confirm. As long as they are the retractable umbrellas that become like a foot long or shorter.

Edit: The roof will be closed, this is just for when you’re walking there.

Mark Moses and Mark Carney

I was watching the TV show, The Last Ship, on Netflix and did a double take when the President Jeffery Michener showed up. I thought for a hot sec that Prime Minister Mark Carney dipped his toes into acting. I can’t unsee it. Lol.

The last three photos are of Mark Moses, but the 2nd photo looks identical to Mark Carney’s side profile.

Spotify just disappeared from Android Auto a minute after using it

My dad is using Android Auto in my car. Spotify has been fine and it was showing up on Android Auto as an app. Today, we stopped at a rest area and we turned the car off. The phone stayed plugged in. When we turned the car on again, Spotify had disappeared. The phone is already in developer mode. Wtf happened?!

I’ve restarted the phone and nothing.

All of the houses, but Hufflepuff have a main or secondary villain from them

Sorcerers Stone / Philosophers Stone: Quirinus Quirrell: Ravenclaw and Voldemort: Slytherin

Chamber of Secrets: Tom Riddle / Voldemort: Slytherin and Gilderoy Lockhart: Ravenclaw

Prisoner of Azkaban: Peter Pettigrew: Gryffindor

Goblet of Fire: Barty Crouch Jr: Ravenclaw and Voldemort: Slytherin

Order of the Phoenix: Dolores Umbridge: Slytherin and Voldemort: Slytherin. Cornelius Fudge’s house is never specified.

Half-Blood Prince: Draco Malfoy: Slytherin and Voldemort: Slytherin

Deathly Hallows: Voldemort: Slytherin

Hufflepuff never has a single villain from their house. Unless you count the annoying Zacharias Smith. Lol.

Need help with arranging bedroom

I’m looking at an apartment to rent and the bedroom I’d be occupying is 10’-10”x9’-2”, so it’s about 99 sqft if I’m correct. It didn’t feel like that, but it’s hard for me to visualize what can fit.

I used an app to see if things could fit and it looks like it can, but I’m wondering if people who have more experience with floor plans and dimensions/measurements would agree. Would you rearrange it a different way?

I will have a double bed with bed frame (57”x82”)

IKEA desk Minke (41.375”x55.125”x19.675”)

IKEA bedside table Storklinta (19.675”x18.875”)

IKEA dresser Vihals (27.5”x18.5”)

IKEA swivel desk chair Malskär (23.375”x26.375”)

I also might have to fit an IKEA tall dresser if not everything from there can fit into the built in drawers and shelves in the closet. I added the height because it’s tall and one whole side of the room is just windows. Same with the desk.

IKEA tall skinny drawers Nordli (18.5”x63.75”x15.75”)

With all this, would they all realistically fit? Was I correct with the mock up? Also, the mock up has smaller dimensions than the actual dimensions I found. I’m current in a 9’-2”x9’-2” room maybe the tinniest bit bigger. It’s around 84-85 square feet and I’ve fit everything in there, but it’s configured differently than the one above. One whole side isn’t just windows and the closet and door are on a 90° angle to one another. I attached a photo of the room. Wish I had taken a better one. The last two photos are how my current room is set up.

Very niche question about bedroom in apartment unit in The MET

I’m looking at a unit to rent in The Met in Metrotown. I’ve attached the floor plan. I would be occupying the smaller of the two bedrooms. Can I comfortably fit a double bed, a desk about 4 1/2 feet wide, a tall dresser about a foot wide, and a wide dresser about 3 1/2 feet wide?

I’ve toured it, but it’s hard to visualize, so I’m hoping someone who lives in this building and has a similar floor plan can give some insight.

My current bedroom is an estimated 10’x10’.

Is this bad?

I didn’t know where to ask. I was just checking my tires and saw this. The tire pressure seems fine and I didn’t feel air leaking.

I have no idea how it happened and I do not have money to buy a tire replacement for the third time (one went flat by a nail and the other by vandalism).

And you can’t just get one, you need to get two tires here in Vancouver.

Hello, I posted two days ago about how I was having a hair dilemma. My hair was more wavy than curly on wash days and nothing major had really changed in hair routine or my life that would be causing it to not curl as much as it had weeks prior.

Well, I decided to try a new shampoo and conditioner. Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Shampoo and Garnier Fructis Curl Nourishing Conditioner. I ran my hands through my throughly when applying the shampoo and conditioner. Other than that, I didn’t change my hair routine. I still used the same curl cream and curl gel. Though I did use a new bottle of my curl gel. Maybe my curl gel bottle went bad (can that happen?). But my hair is more curlier. It was more humid today, but yesterday when I washed my hair it wasn’t.

I didn’t know if my hair was just having a weird day or if changing the shampoo and conditioner just helped. I’m going to keep with this routine using the new shampoo and conditioner and see of it continues yielding the results I want.

I know some of you in my original post have been having the same issues. I’d say maybe change your shampoo or conditioner or both. See if that works. Open a new bottle of curl cream or gel. Maybe your curl cream or gel went bad somehow (idk if that’s even a thing). Just changing one little thing and seeing if your hair goes back to how it was before. If it doesn’t work try switching out another. That worked for me. But then again, maybe my hair was just being weird and it needed to figure itself out.

I hope this helps anyone else in the same predicament as me. Curly hair can be so annoying sometimes, but we still love it. :)

**Routine:**

I wash with Innersense shampoo and conditioner. Though I have been mostly using the Ouai clarifying shampoo every time I wash my hair on Sunday and Wednesday.

I then separate my hair from the back from the top and bottom and clip my hair up. I wet it with a spray bottle and then use Bounce Me Curl Balm and take my fingers through my hair. Then I brush style with the Bounce Curl brush and scrunch.

I clip that hair and then take the other clip out and then separate the front pieces and clip that up. I do the same thing I do with the back. I brush under the hair. So the bristles face the ceiling. I do it in layers on each side and the back. Then I do the front pieces and my god the left front piece is the bane of my existence sometimes. Lol. After I’ve applied the curl cream and scrunched all of my hair, I apply the Jessicurl Spiralicious Curl Gel, citrus lavender scented, and use a generous amount all over my hair. I scrunch and then scrunch some more.

I then take a t-shirt and scrunch out the excess water. I take my Laifen diffuser and hover diffuser for 12-15 minutes, tilting my head side to side. Then in scrunch diffuse for another 12-15 minutes. My hair is mostly dry by then.

I use Shea Moisture Hold & Shine Moisture Mist and Curl Smith Bonding Oil to scrunch out the crunch.

I didn’t know what to put in the title.

Currently I’m having trouble with my hair. Specifically on wash days and specifically if I’m not going outside or going out somewhere.

I literally did my hair twice today. Like I washed and shampooed it and did my curly hair routine, twice!

On hair wash days, I do the routine below, but my hair just doesn’t curl. It’s more wavy, with some curls, but like not good curls. I don’t know what to do. I’ve attached photos. The photo of me in the brown sweater is Day 5 hair! I was up early and out for the entire day doing background work. The photo of me in the cream shirt is from today. It looks horrible. It isn’t curling like it has and I’m just so frustrated. Humidity is my frenemy. It gives me ringlets that last for days, but it also gives me frizz.

I’m going to try Garnier shampoo and conditioner tomorrow and see if switching up my shampoo and conditioner will help. Maybe using the clarifying shampoo almost every wash day is catching up to me (though I’ve been using it for almost a year).

If anyone has any suggestions or has been in this predicament and fixed it, I’m all ears!

Sincerely, a frustrated curly haired girl. 🥲🫠😭
