$4.50CAN all in after a $2 off coupon. 1985 Sony WM F18/F28. I normally do buy these old Cassette WM because I’m not very good at repairing them. Well I popped 2AAs in the battery compartment and wiggled them around until I got power running on the radio then ran the play button. Motors ran exceptionally well and autoreverse worked so I took a chance. I cleaned the battery compartment out a bit more and sprayed some deoxit on the volume pot as it was a bit scratchy. I bought a cassette tape and the unit runs well. No need to change the belt (yet) or do any major repairs. The back of the Walkman has a previous owners name scratched into it, so Jason Macgregor, I have your old Walkman now.

I found this at the thrift yesterday. I know reviews are mixed with this figure but for you can’t go wrong for 4 bucks. I have the T-Rex, Spinosaurus and Giganotosaurus which I bought at retail but this is the first Hammond I have seen at the thrift.

I found this Pioneer H-R99 at the thrift store yesterday. It powers on and the tape counter works. I still need to test it when I have a chance but not bad for $25.

I was randomly pointing my UV flashlight at some glass and vases at the thrift yesterday and this popped up. My first Vitrock piece! Woot woot!

I found this at the Thrift last week for $3.50. It looks very delicate so I was surprised there wasn’t any damage. I can’t identify it but I’m assuming since it’s a custard colour this is considered custard glass.

I used a $2 off coupon and the bag was $6.77CAN all in. The small Birks Sterling souvenir spoon was 15 grams. The plated baby keepsake boxes had contents. 👀

I picked up 9 bags of old die cast cars and paid about $40CAN with a coupon after taxes. They were mainly Matchbox Lesney, some Corgi and a couple Dinky and Husky. A little beat up but many of the cars were in fair shape. These were the stand outs though. Hotwheels Rrrumblers and a beat up Redline Mustang. The Rrrumblers are in great shape and still had their riders.

I found 3 bags at the thrift yesterday. I may have overpaid for Cheetara but I don’t have her. The 1980 Mego Klingon 3.75 and Akbar caught my eye but that bag of parts had had four 80’s GI Joe accessories. Overall a good find for me.
