I finally got all the parts went on to do the power window conversion on my dx. Took me a couple hours and a rerun to the junkyard, but I got done! For anyone that wants to know, you can use the floor harness from the ex sedan if you cant find a coupe one without issues and heres the relay part # if you need it since no part store has results for 'power window relay' 25-0279. I will answer any questions to the best of my ability if you have any🫡

So I ironed out all the other issues the motor was having within the week of when I put it in. Knock sensor was throwing a code because turns out it got unplugged😃 replaced it anyway, and it was soft limiting because I didn't have a downstream o2 sensor because my dx chassis doesn't have the plug for one like the ex, so I got a p28 chipped and tuned and fixed that issue. Now, its got this strange sound the engine has been making sense we put it in. Does it at all temperatures and is audible from inside the car. Any ideas what this could be? In the video the engine was at op temp.

I dropped this obd2b d16y8 in my ej and it's acceleration and revving is very sluggish, along with occasionally soft limiting to 5200 rpm. I just put it in yesterday so it hasn't been in long. Rn I'm only running one o2 sensor because its all I got for the moment. The cel is on for the knock sensor. I've never dealt with a knock sensor before, so could that be causing it? Im already gonna try replacing it tomorrow, but if it continues to throw a code, should I start running premium/mid-grade, new injectors, adjust the timing? It's already got new plugs in it.

Okay, so, I got this vtec harness as I plan to y8 swap and I forgot to ask the seller and didn't think to until MONTHS later(Oopsie on my part). I can't tell if this is OBD2A or OBD2B and need help so I can get the right ecu/jumper harness when I go OBD1. I'm sooo lost😭. OBD2A is A C D, and OBD2B is A B C. I have A B C D

So, I plan on buying this 91' Rx7 off of my dad's friend for $2.5k(his asking price). On its second motor, and I don't remember the milage. The only issue is when he parked it in his garage back in 08' because it just 'quit' on him(from what my dad and I assumed after coming to mess with the car, fuel pump failure) he let it sit with the fuel in the tank, cooking the fuel sending unit and the tank. I know it runs because we got it to idle off of brake clean. Does anyone have a good source where I could find a new/used sending unit, or is selling one in Georgia?(possibly Austell area) I can clean the tank out.

In the first video is the time my muffler broke off and the second is with the new header I put on. It's dumping straight out too😭 I plan on fixing that once I got money and time, time more than money really
