Done "Psych101": A crash course in the science of the mind.

The book gives you the basic idea of phycology. It explains how research is done in the area in simple terms, what the results are, and some definitions. It doesn't go into depth, but it surely won't bore you.

Over among 13 young lives were lost in India after neet fiasco, one of them was a 17 year old boy from Ahmedabad.

Because of the screw-up and corruption by the top BJ party leaders, including the main minister, a lot of innocent lives were lost. People like Sonam Wangchuk are protesting in Delhi, demanding the minister's resignation, among other things. Sonam is super respected and has been active in many protests for regular folks before. He's on his 19th day of a hunger strike to get the minister out.

Not everyone can go to the capital and protest against the jerks behind the innocent kids' deaths. We all know what happens to people who protest against this government. Recently, another minister was openly saying to an interviewer that he has a list of YouTubers who made videos against his ministry's tyrannical policies. Not everyone can afford to go to jail and spend years there without a trial.

The least we can do is support the influential, capable people who have a louder voice than us, even if it's just online. Changing the DPs of the sub and users anonymously here, without directly confronting the government, could be an option.

This is not just about Delhi or Mumbai or Ahmedabad, this affect us all. This is also not about the BJ party or Congress; it's about the innocent children who lost their lives and are still depressed because of the screw-ups of people in power. So, let's speak up together and do what we can, before the things come to your door step!

[OC] What is your Man Ki Bat?

r/mankibat is a place to share concerns, frustrations, observations, ideas, and discussions about things that affect everyday life. What's something you want this country to talk about?

Bad roads?

Broken systems?

Education?

Public services?

Environment?

Work culture?

Local issues?

National issues?

Something nobody seems to talk about?

Post it.

Rant if you want.

But if possible, also tell us: what would you do differently? What is your solution?

What's the importance of surnames in your country/region?

Can others identify your origin/ethnicity from your surname in your country? Can you change your surname?

Like in India you can clearly identify the person's caste and region from where he or she might be. Some people in certain castes can identify almost thousands of years of mythical lineage within their family with surname. People are starting to use names without surnames, like Kumar and Singh, to avoid discrimination.

Does any form of discrimination or prejudice based on your surname exist in your country?

What do you think about making the subcontinent movement-free again, so that people can travel anywhere they want?

I asked this question on r/asktheworld and got some racist replies from all the so-called developed western countries.

So, I thought, let's see what Indians think about making atleast the Indian subcontinent movement-free again. I know it's not fully possible right now with all our neighbors, but we could at least start with a friendly country. After that, we could slowly move on to countries we don't have good relations with. Even with them, we could start trading and moving goods. Remember, European countries were once strict enemies too, but they figured things out, and now things are working great for them. So, why can't we do this?

Western countries, especially the USA, benefit (monetarily and politically) when we fight amongst ourselves. They force us to buy military equipment by making us fight each other. They try to destabilize our economies. I know certain local politics is also involved in this. And I also know that "you can't clap with one hand." But, given the fact that if we keep religion aside, we won't be distinguishable behaviorally and somewhat culturally. We have to start somewhere.
