Top 3 prettiest and ugliest Swords in your opinion?

Undying Rage, Omukade's Revenge and Tempest's End

Definetly the top 3 prettiest swords in-game if you ask me. All 3 of these are objectively and without a doubt prettier than anything else in the game.

As for ugliest?

Mamushi's Venom, Yasha's Ember and Hidden Forest

Reminder for everyone: The new weapons, class and Chaos mode will not drop in Patch 14

Saber themselves said it's "Year 3 content", and Patch 14 is still in Year 2.

It's also supposed to be smaller than Patch 13.

I could see a lot of this stuff dropping in Patch 15. We are confirmed to get the Wolf Guard Champion in that Patch, and I could see the Thunder Hammer drop there too.

That's it, that's the post.

Just wanted to remind you folks to excersise patience.

Aight, so which Space Marines' title has the most "aura"?

Is it...

Luis Dante? Chapter Master of the Blood Angels, Bringer of Sanguinius' Light, Lord of Angels and Warden of Imperium Nihilus?

Azrael? Named for the Angel of Death, Supreme Grandmaster of the Unforgiven and Keeper of the Truth.

Pedro Kantor? The Lord Hellblade and Praetor Encarmine.

My vote goes to Dante 🩸🪽 Being called Lord of Angels goes unnecessarily hard

Two Ideas for unique Army Rules in 11th Ed.

Brothers,

considering the Black Templars have a unique Army Rule in the Templar Vows - and I think the First Founding Chapters deserve one too.

With Oath of Moment likely being replaced by Combat Doctrines, and there being talk of Army Rules for DA and BA already, I wanted to throw in my lot:

---

DARK ANGELS

~~ Decree of the Inner Circle ~~

If your Army is [DARK ANGELS], units from your Army have this ability.

Units from your Army are divided into three divisions:

• Units with the [DEATHWING] keyword are -1 to Wound, if the Strength characteristic of the attack is higher than their toughness value

• Units with the [RAVENWING] keyword can Shoot after Advancing

• Units with the [GREENWING] keyword can sticky objectives

Furthermore, at the start of your Command Phase, select one enemy unit on the battlefield - this unit is your Oath of the Unforgiven target:

• If a Unit with the [DEATHWING] keyword is within 12" of the target, you can re-roll the Hit Roll of their attacks

• If a Unit with the [RAVENWING] keyword is within 12" of the target, if that target ends a Normal, Advance of Fall Back move, the [RAVENWING] unit can make a move of D6"

• If a Unit is with the [GREENWING] keyword is within 12" of the target, improve the Armour Penetration characteristic of their ranged weapons by 1.

---

BLOOD ANGELS

~~ The Twin Curses of Sanguinius ~~

If your Army is [BLOOD ANGELS], units from your Army have this ability.

Units from your Army have the [LANCE] ability - add 1 to all Wound Rolls made in melee, if this unit performed a successful charge this turn.

When a unit is selected to Fight, it can also choose to make a Flaw Test.

To do so, make a Leadership Test - id it succeeds, your unit successfully gives in to the Red Thirst and gains the following abilities:

• Gains the [LETHAL HITS] or [SUSTAINED HITS 1] ability on their melee weapons.

• Your unit restores D3 wounds when it destroys an enemy unit

If the Flaw Test fails, your unit instead falls to the Black Rage and gains the following abilities instead - it will be affected by the Black Rage for the rest of the game.

• This unit has the [FEEL NO PAIN 5+] ability

• The Objective Control characteristic of this unit is 0, unless within 6" of a friendly Chaplain

• This unit has to charge the closest eglible unit if it is selected to charge

---

I tried going more for flavor than balance with these rules, so they may end up a bit unbalanced.

Hence why I ask for your opinions on them.

A Game Mode that will absolutely NOT happen - but it would be cool regardless...

I'll call it something super cringe like "Warhammer 40K Legends". Why?

In my mind, a game mode like this would be detached from both Eternal War (PvP) and Operations (PvE). The latter is obviously closely tied to the Campaign storyline and follows the Ultramarines 2nd Company, the Guardians of the Temple.

What I imagine Legends to be, is a mode that allows us to revisit some of the most legendary battles of Warhammer 40K (hence the name).

Obviously nothing as outlandish as the Horus Heresy or Great Crusade (that would need to be its own game entirely), but there's so much in 40K History...

- The First Tyrannic War, in which Hive Fleet Behemoth invaded Macragge. Here, the Ultramarines 1st Company made a final stand and was killed to the last man.

Imagine being one of them.

Terminator-clad fighting off Hordes of Tyranid Beasts, that get progressively larger. AI battle brothers fall around you, and eventually, you yourself are slain.

- The 2nd War for Armageddon, where the Blood Angels and Salamanders retook Hive Tartarus from the Orks. We could also partake in the current 4th War for Armageddon (that planet can't catch a break can it?) and be part of Operation Imperator.

- The Devastation of Baal, where the sons of Sanguinius made a last stand, and were ready to die in the face of endless Tyranid hordes.

Dante famously held a speech here, which I shall now post because it's too cool not to:

"Our primarch was among the first to die, but he lives eternal in all our beings. The meat and blood of our bodies are his host. For ten thousand years we have protected his legacy within the fortresses of our bodies."

...

"That time is at an end. We are all Death Company now. The sarcophagi lie shattered, their occupants devoured, and our future upon Baal has died with them."

...

"What say vou, warriors of Baal?" [...] That we let slip the Red Thirst one final time, and fly upon wings of wrath with our lord unto battle? I commend you all, oh ye mighty, to the protection of the Great Angel. For the Emperor, for Sanguinius! There is no more beauty to be had from life, so let us then seek a beautiful death!"

"A beautiful death! For the Emperor! For Sanguinius!"

---

Obviously, this is an insane pipe dream.

It would require whole new maps, voicelines and models for both new enemy factions and our own allies.

But wouldn't it just be cool as heck?

I do NOT think the new secondary will be the Absolvor Bolt Pistol - and why I think we'll get a Chaplain

For those unaware, the Absolvor Bolt Pistol is used by Chaplains, Apothecaries and Judiciars (and probably some other tabletop models I'm missing).

BUT: We already have the Heavy Bolt Pistol, and the Absolvor is *extremely* similar to a HBP (plus, we don't need a third version of the Bolt Pistol).

That leaves two options, for me:

- Hand Flamers and/or Pyre Pistols

- Reductor Pistol (Apothecary exclusive)

Out of those two, the Reductor is not really a ranged weapon, it's used to extract gene-seed. This leads me to believe we're getting a Hand Flamer, alongside a Chaplain class - not an Apothecary.

Saber said we're getting a new Secondary, they didn't say we'll **only get a Secondary.** They could absolutely be making a Crozius Arcanum and just not tell us.

Plus, a skull faced Chaplain shouting Litanies as his class ability is waaay cooler than some Gravis armoured mf'er doing healing (in my opinion that is).

Saber also said the new class will get a Champion Skin.

An Apothecary would have maybe one possible skin: a Blood Angels Sanguinary Priest.

If we get a Apothecary Biologis, then what Champion would we even get? GW is very strict with their IP, and there are no Chapter-specific Gravis armoured Apothecaries.

A Chaplain would have: a Dark Angels' Interrogator Chaplain, a Blood Angels Death Company Chaplain & a Space Wolves Wolf Priest skin to pick from.

Thirdly: **Chaplains have a greater variety of weapons to choose from.** For example, the Black Templars unique Chaplain, the *Execrator* can equip a Crozius and a Power Weapon, same as Asmodai (the baddest Chaplain in all 40K, next to Astorath)

Tldr: Due to more Champion skin possibilities, greater weapon variety and sheer cool factor, we'll get a Chaplain.
