KWGT- Draining battery?

I replaced one date and one time/date widget with 3 static image widgets, and battery drain went from around 1% to 18 now. Any clue why?

Download speeds start off okay, but slow down to 0 in a couple minutes

Hey all, this is a very oddly specific problem. I'm open to any solutions you guys may think of.

I'm in China right now, and I already have a VPN installed on my laptop. This VPN has decent speeds enough where I am able to stream anime and other videos without waiting for it to buffer. However, I am trying to use it to download the standalone installer for the VPN so I can have it on another computer. I already have a flash drive.

When I try to download the installer, however, speeds drastically decrease. I'm fine with slower speeds, it makes sense with a VPN, but the speeds are decreasing rather than staying constant. It starts at around 50 Kbps, and gradually drops all the way down to 0, where it will then tell me to retry the download due to connection error. What is unusual is that every time I retry it, the process repeats, starting at 50 and dropping to 0.

Solutions I've already tried:

-Disabling the VPN (this didn't work because I'm using Chinese internet. Makes sense.

-Using a 5G hotspot with a VPN (same speeds, same issue)

-Using a hotspot with international roaming (This is the one I hoped would work, but didn't, it caused the exact same thing)

-Turning on parallel downloads in browser flags (This helped raise the max from 20kbps to 50 kbps but still would gradually go to 0)

I know this is very specific so please give me some ideas :)

Does tailscale work in China, and if so, how?

Going to China in a week, looking for ways to bypass GFW. Roaming is an option but I'd rather use local WiFi since I have family there. Plus, things such as my laptop/iPad don't have SIM cards.

I've heard using my home PC, in America, as an exit node but is that all I have to do or are there extra steps?

Number 8 has a filled loop

The text randomly started filling in the bottom loop of the 8. It wasn't like this before, the only thing I changed was the size. Any help?

Mice with subtle RGB?

I currently have a Glorious Model D, and I'm planning on on upgrading since it's been a while. After some digging I found the DeathAdder V4 Pro is incredibly similar in shape, so I'm already thinking of getting that. One thing, though, is that I am by no means a competitive gamer and aesthetic is more important to me, so I was hoping there was an option with RGB, at least a little.

I have already seen the Razer Cobra Pro, but that one is a tiny mouse so I already decided against it.

Also, if you guys have any alternatives to the DAV4 let me know too! I personally am a bit iffy about Razer.

Don't worry about budget :)

Are animated wallpapers really that important to your desktop aesthetic?

I've seen tons of videos about debloating and personalizing your computer. They all seem to stem on making your taskbar and desktop minimal. The taskbar and notification make sense; personally, I use Windhawk to make them transparent. However, all of them really emphasize on live wallpapers. Do they really matter? If I'm using my PC to play games or work, I'm not really looking at the wallpaper... The taskbar, for example, is visible whenever I'm on a browser on non-fullscreen app, so at least that is still visible to some degree. What is the objective and motivation in using a live wallpaper?

Cursor remains locked to position

Not sure whether this is reputable, but this is pretty niche.

I am currently using Moonlight/Sunshine to stream my home computer to another touchscreen laptop. Everything runs fine except one game, Wuthering Waves. The issue with this particular game is that it does not seem to fully detect where my cursor is. I can move my camera and attack as usual, but when I open up a menu to click a button, it does not know where my cursor is. The only way I can navigate menus is with the touchscreen from the laptop. I have also noticed that, wherever I touch last with the touchscreen, the game locks my cursor into that position, but ONLY in menus. For example, if I click a specific tab in the Events page, the game thinks that my cursor is at that position, so whenever I click, it shows the feedback of me clicking on that tab. Again, moving the camera around moves fine. This is such a non-consistent problem that I am having trouble diagnosing it.

I have already tried disabling the touchscreen driver, and that just completely bricks the game when I open up a menu.

Any thoughts?

Is it possible to futureproof monitor arms?

Bit of a dumb question probably, but I've done some searching and can't seem to find one.

I have an ultrawide right now, and am looking into monitor arms because my desk is quite small and theres no space for other stuff like my controller. I was also thinking I don't wanna spend money for a monitor arm, get another monitor, and then have to sell or return the old monitor arm because it can't hold 2 monitors or can't be futureproofed.

Obviously, those horizontal to vertical arms can be future proofed by just adding another horizontal arm to it, but I'm talking like actual monitor arms. Is there no way to add an extension, or any company that does that?
