I think as a design, cloak and dagger is really well done. A stance swapping support that uses dark magic as utility and light magic as heals. But as it stands… it’s really just light magic to heal… and light magic to heal… and dark magic to save your own life.. and then light magic to heal…

You get my point. I think Cloak and Dagger are already a very strong pick, and I don’t want to just straight up buff cloak and make them Pick Ban, but I would like it if cloak was more than just a way to save Tandy from being pulled off the map.

Have you ever thought of ways to change cloak so that you’d want to use him more than just 4-5 times a game? Obviously that’s an over-exaggeration btw. But I think if there was a way to split the time used on cloak and time used on dagger, it would probably be a 85% and 15% split. And I’d like it to be closer to like… maybe 65% and 45%? There’s always going to be a desire to play as the healer and heal your team, but I’m sure there’s ideas their mains have come up with some ideas for cloak. And I’d love to hear them :)

This isn’t a complaint, just an observation. I like it when ultimates actually feel like ultimates and not just abilities with long cooldowns, but my god this has to be the most egregious example. Even in my QP games that go to 9 minutes, I get one, MAYBE 2 ultimates a game if I’m lucky and performing at the top of my game.

I think ultimate is strong, incredibly strong, but I also wish I was able to use it more than once a game lol.

I really think that hood might be the worst character in the game to pick when the game goes past 3:3 because past 3:3, the game relies on who can generate ult charge faster to keep your cart push going. And Hood just can’t generate ult charge to save his life.

I think he’s a ton of fun, and I’m going to keep playing him, but i really think his charge should be lowered just a tiny tiny bit. I don’t want him to do more damage, I just wanna have more than one ult a game lol.

Like, would it have been such a bad thing to include the skin too? Like don’t get me wrong, it literally doesn’t affect me one bit because I already own Mirae 2099, but it just feels kinda… uncomfortable that they’re gonna be giving you the chroma and not the skin too for a toy north of 300 bucks.

Like I get they didn’t even HAVE to include this, it’s just a treat, but I don’t think it’s fair for people to have to buy the toy AND the skin just to use the bonus… or maybe every Luna main already owns Mirae 2099 so this literally effects no one lol.

I really don't like how the hood team up gives her healing. That's literally it. i truly think that the healing on hit should be switched over to be part of Blade's passive team up. right now, i genuinely think she's balanced as a kit. but it saddens me that blade team up is undeniably worse than hood and hood is almost too strong. I don't wanna nerf Jube, i just want a power shift. Especially since next season, teaming up with him will literally make the hit scan, headshot, healing permanent even without enhanced fire rate. She should have to choose between hyper damage hit scan crits or hyper sustain life steal.

Blade team up technically isn't even bad, its actually quite good. hood is just the obvious choice 9 times out of 10 and i really think this minor power shift could even it out. even if hood didn't give life steal anymore, i still think hood will be the more appealing choice, but at least picking a team up wouldn't be as obvious as it currently is.

(they probably did this cause i think hood might be a life stealing hero next season but who knows)

Other than that, fantastic design. she's def gonna be my main for a while.

With the announcement of the fact that Physical Discs for PlayStation will be faded out of existence, ALONG with the ever increasing prices for storage and ram leading to outrageous console prices. I as a consumer want to give my two sense about what I personally think GameStop should do to not only make money but also simultaneously help the customers out if the time comes. And I know they browse the subreddit so hopefully they will hear my advice. This is going to be a long one, so I greatly apologize in advance.

1. Add a “Permanent” OPTION for GPG’s that are PRO exclusive.

GPG’s or Game Warrenties, have been pure profit since the dawn of time. Across my multiple years working here, I have sold probably thousands of GPG’s however I have only had to replace maybe 5 or 6. And my entire store, probably less than 20. GPG’s are nothing but raw profit cause MOST of the time, no one will be using them. BUT, that doesn’t mean they’re not useful. In the rare rare rare situation that you need it, paying 3 dollars is a hell of a lot cheaper than paying 70. However, the downside with them is they are only 1 year or 2 years long. Retro is decades old by now, so I think it’s time we start considering them now that physical will be a piece of the past. What I suggest is, PRO members have an option to add a PERMANENT GPG to any game for the same cost as a 2 year option. Right now, the only purpose the 2 year serves is to make the 1 year look more appealing. But, I’d say that 70 dollar retro ps2 game has a 4.99 1 year GPG, or a 7.99 PERMANENT GPG, the 7.99 permanent GPG looks more appealing for people that might play that game in a few years and it’s broken. But don’t worry, you got a permanent GPG, head down to Retro Stop and get yourself another copy!

I also suggest making this PRO exclusive so that the pro membership has even more “UMPH” to our hardcore physical collectors. The people that will stay with GameStop.

2. Add the option to add “Additional years” to consoles.

Consoles are getting way too expensive. WAY too expensive. But GameStop can use this to help our customers in a unique way! Right now, GameStop offers only 1 and 2 year PRP warranties when you buy a console. 1 year goes by fast and 2 years just isn’t worth the money 9/10. What I suggest is customers have the option to add additional years onto already purchased consoles if they like. Maybe start with like… +$20 dollars a year? It’s not reasonable for me as a customer to pay north of 700 dollars for a USED ps5 with a disc drive if my current PS5 shits the bed. And unfortunately, my current PS5 has already ran out of the warranty I bought. But, what if we can help the customer AND the company. Think about it this way. If you as a customer are closing in on your 1 year warranty, there’s fuck and all you can do about it. But, if you can go to game stop, hand them your receipt, and ask for an additional year for 20-25 bucks, not only has GameStop just made an additional 20-25 bucks for practically free, you have also just helped the customer out by giving them the peace of mind that if it breaks next year, they’re not screwed!

3. incentivize trading in games WITH cases!

This one is a hard one, because GameStop has always charged games for their “loose” prices. When you buy a game, the only thing you’re guaranteed to get is the game itself. You’re not promised a case, manual, keychain, etc. only the disc/cartridge only. GameStop should REWARD customers for trading in games that have a good looking case and/or manual. Maybe like an extra 5-10% bonus that we can click to say if a game has a case? That way people trading in games that we give .25c for aren’t given THAT much more in credit but are still thanked for it. It may not sound like a lot, but for a game that could be worth 35 dollars in trade credit, an extra 3 dollars adds up and is a nice gratuity.

4. Spend these last few years to hard care push for “GameStop Exclusive” editions.

People should really have a reason to buy from GameStop over other retailers. Not just for a boring steelbook, or a dumb tote bag, really push the limits to make people purchase from us. Ask vendors to make exclusive cases, exclusive collector editions, raffles, bonus content, etc. make these last few years feel special. GameStop was created for gamers. It’s why we hire gamers, it’s why we sell to gamers. Obviously they can’t rush gaming companies to work faster, but what they can do it work to make buying games from here feel more special than ordering off Amazon or driving the Walmart. Midnights are dead, and there’s a good chance the last video game midnight we have for a Sony game is God of War Laufey. I pray Nintendo doesn’t follow suit and that they keep making physical games, but after this news, I’ve unfortunately lost my optimism… but before we fully transition to TCG stop, we should make these last few years with physical something to remember. Go all out with these physical launches of games. I’ve already embraced that we are moving to become TCG stop, but at least let’s make these final moments remind us of why we went to gamestop.

That’s all. If it isn’t obvious, I’m fucking heart broken by this announcement. I’m extremely proud of my physical collection and have around 300 or so games that I’ve collected across my years of working here. These games are more than games in my eyes. I’m praying that the backlash makes Sony reconsider but I know they won’t. So I just gotta count my days until January 2028 hits…GameStop, if you’re listening, please consider some of these changes… I applied here for my love of gaming. I know a lot of your employees applied here for their love of gaming. Don’t let us down, and if you could, as the billion dollar company… maybe speak up for us… where we can’t…

I’m so sick of our DM telling us that this change isn’t a “big deal”. YOU DON’T KNOW MY CUSTOMERS! When I sign someone up for pro I phrase it out as if I’m doing THEM a favor. I’m the one assisting them in saving money. It’s not the other way around. I’m the one bringing up their 5 dollars coupons, I’m the one telling them about their savings, I’m the one telling them how many points they have.

When someone buys a console and they have to pay the full 25 dollars for the pro, my (Near Exact) verbiage is “you come back one more time “I” save you “x” amount of dollars on your next purchase” because of the points they get on it. This isn’t “You” save yourself x amount of dollars, it’s “I”. Because in that small 15-30 minutes, I build a bond that my customers can trust in me. It’s not like they’re dumb and can’t redeem the coupons themselves, but they know that, “oh, that GameStop employee said they can save me money, I’ll go to them to help me out.” They shop here because I want to give them a good service.

And now, I can’t redeem their points, I cant redeem their 5 dollars coupon, you have framed me as a LIAR!

Every. Single. Fucking. Change that’s happened has only done one single thing. Separate the “bond” between me and my customers.

I respect my customers. And the only thing this company has done is spit in their faces time and time again. I’m done being the punching bag.

I love my job, but I fucking hate the company i work for. So unless you want to actually take my feedback and deliver to RC, stop telling me it’s not a big deal when you don’t work at my fucking store.
