People in your 40's making under 100k what do you have in retirement.

I think I am doing pretty good. I have around 350k at 43. Just curious what your numbers are at. I hope this doesn't sound like I am bragging because I am not. I feel that I see a lot of posts where people are making a lot more than I am and have balances I can only dream of.

First time couples therapy

My gf of 12 years and I will be doing therapy soon. Meeting with a therapist this week or next for a consultation then if we like her we will move forward with our first session. Any advice for consultation? What should we be looking for? Any helpful info would be appreciated. This is our last hope before ending it.

Help with bugs

Found several of these bugs in my bathroom the last couple of days. I can't find what they are and how to get rid of them. Never had an issue with this until now. Can anyone help?

Mom is losing it

Hi everyone! Hoping for some advice with dealing with my mother who is starting to get worse with her dementia. Last couple months have been extremely tough on us. She is starting to get very paranoid about people breaking into her house and doing things for her. A couple months ago it was someone came in and completed sewing she was doing then they organized her closet. She started accusing her neighbors of breaking in to the point I changed her locks and put in a camera to watch her place. That has now subsided but now it's moving towards attacks on my girlfriend. We had her watch our dog for a couple of days which was fine. When we came back we found a couple coffee pods on a self and my GF asked her what it was about and she denied putting them there. Not a big deal at all. She is now coming at us saying that we are spreading lies about the pods and wants to fight my GF about this. She seems to get fixated on certain things and it becomes her obsession and I'm looking to see if anyone has a way to help with these things. We recently got her a robot pet thinking that might help but after a few weeks with it I see no progress. I know my time with her is limited and I want to make the most out of what I have left with her. Any help would be appreciated.

People in retirement do you follow the 4% rule?

I hear a lot of mixed opinions on the SWR and I know it will be different for everyone but I'm trying to find out if the 4% rule is followed by most. I'm still about 20 years from retirement so my goal is to have 25x my income but I think I will be short of that goal. If you're not doing 4% are you doing a different percentage, guardrail system, bucket strategy, something else I am unaware of?

Newbie for golf advice

Hi everyone,

Getting into golf late in life. Im starting with hand me down clubs and the mentality of just swing and hope for the best. Looking for some good advice on how to improve my game. I'm not trying to do anything special just hit the ball consistently because I top the ball a lot and I slice the hell out of my shots mostly driving the ball. I would like to do lessons but right now money is tight and if I'm going to spend money on golf i might as well be playing a round. Any tips would be appreciated.

Bought a camping chair and get a message today asking me to cancel order. Can they not cancel on their end? I feel like this is some sort of scam.
