Won with all the golden medals 👍

It was kinda chill because there weren't a lot of players, and said players where honestly playing like toddlers. Seriously, one of them instead of jumping between the platformers, he just decided to wait for them to get into the right position, and only jump forward at the very laat minute. One dude even quit waiting for him, leaving the final for the third round.

Anyway, the final was the Kraken one which i'm not very good at, but since there was only me and another dude, I decided to try my luck in grabbing him to throw him off. Didn't need to do that because he got confused trying to run away and fell by himself :D

Today that's two wins on the Kraken one, with the other one being with again just me and another dude, whom was trying to grab and throw me off, but he also got confused and fell by himself. Not all gold medals on this one, but worth mentioning anyway 👍

Guys...

I've been replaying Superstars a lot for the past few weeks, and it quickly overthrew Shadow Gens as my favorite 2020s game, and at this point it might just overthrow Mamia as my faborite 2D game and second favorite game of the franchise.

Like, it just feels more engaging than Mania, there's more platforming and i'm always doing something, whereas Mania has more moments where i'm just running. I also like how the platforming is not as tight as it is in Mania, making so that running through the stages feels a lot smoother.

The level gimmicks are also great, like those snakes in Sand Sanctuary you can slope jump over when they're curled correctly.

▲ 13 r/Chucky

Now that I finished watching the TV show, here's my updated ranking of the Chucky franchise.

Pretty good show overall.

Season 1 is the best one imo.

The whole idea of Chucky trying to traumatizing the kids to get them to murder someone is pretty fun, and it was pretty neat how at the end Junior ended up the most traumatized and who actually murdered someone even though Chucky wasn't even targetting him.

And god, how cool was that scene where Chucky threw his mom off the window and she feel right in front of him. Though, it was kinda not hard to laugh a bit with that love pop song playing on the background, and it was even more hilarious when the principal had her head chopped off and it played Heads Will Roll, lmao. Seriously, who the fuck chose the soundtrack for this series?

Not that i'm complaining much, but still.

It was also pretty surprising how Lexy grew on me throught the season, and she became my favorite of the main trio. I heard some people don't like the human cast in here, and, while I disagree for the most part, there is indeed some boring stuff in the middle, like the romance between Jake and Devon kinda dragging on.

Moving on the season 2; it started kinda boring, and I really don't like the conflict between Jake and Devon, neither how quickly it was resolved even if it was kinda sweet. Like. the idea was there, but idk, it just felt so forced and that they always had to bump it up to move the plot forward, to get them to separate from each other and shit.

Then things reach rock bottom with episode 4 and the mess it was it was, but it does improve around the middle half where more interesting stuff happens, and from here the season improves a lot and becomes a ton of fun. Lexy's is yet again a highlight, I really liked Nadine as well, and it was also nice seeing Glen/Glenda return.

There are still problems though, like how there really isn't a main Chucky's that's a threat, and when it seemed where we'd finally have one with the Colonel, he just died almost the moment he got into the kids' room. The Buff Chucky could've also been a threat, but he's mostly just doing his on thing with the Nun and her whole subplot that's just there to give Chucky Prime time to transfer him soul to the therapist at the end to run away.

But again, it was still mostly fun, and the final episodes of the season were great. No problems with them

Now onto the last season; it improved on most of my problems with season 2 with the stakes being higher with Chucky just trying to go all out, initially to try to impress Dambala, and later to try to leave his mark on history. I also liked the whole drama with Charllote trying to cover up the murders with that asshole dude to protect her family. Speaking of murders, the kills were awesome, some of my favorites in the franchise.

There are also no forced conflicts between Jake and Devon, but in return there's a pretty unnecessary sex subplot. Another unnecessary thing was the romance subplot between Lexy and James, which didn't really go anywhere as she just ended up stuck in those dolls alongside her friends.

Said ending makes me wonder how will things go on from here since the TV show was cancelled and we're heading towards a new theatrical movie, which like, hss to appeal to wider audiences, some that never even heard of anything that came out after Seed (the last theatrical Chucky novie), so it may not even dive into the TV show plotline too much. I hope they get another studio to wrap up the show, but with how long it has been I doubt it.
