Stage 3 consult UK

Ive got a stage 3 consult over the phone next week for stage 3 - finally one step closer to my ultimate goal!

Ive realised I don’t actually know how stage 3 is done though - do they cut the phallus open to fit the device in? Is this not very painful in recovery? Does it risk losing sensation/losing the phallus?

Positive stage 3 experiences very much welcomed as im very scared of losing what Ive got

UK - C&W

Hi team Ive just had my first consult at C&W for phalloplasty and I was horrified.

The surgeon didn’t seem to know what she was talking about. She got basic facts wrong. She told me it was 2 nights in hospital post stage 1. I queried it and she said she was definitely right. NVH has 5 nights in hospital minimum, and they do less in stage 1. I asked about the complication rates, she said they “didn’t really matter”, but that there was a 60% complication rate with stage 1 that would require further surgery. She told me she didn’t really believe that nerve hook up works, but that she’d “try it anyway”. I started getting suspicious after all this, so I asked what her experience was.

She told me she had not done phalloplasty before and neither had the other surgeon on the team. She told me she had only observed phalloplasty over the past few years.

How is the NHS allowing these people to do phallo? Im trying to switch to NVH now because theres no way I am trusting her. Given that the NVH wait list isn’t as long as it has been in the past once you get your referral accepted, I regret my decision to switch massively.

Beginner here looking for help

Selection of photos I took in one day in the UK with my 1300D and 18-270mm Tamron lens.

Had the camera two weeks. No editing, just cropping.

I “know” (theoretically) about exposure, getting down to eyeline where possible, rule of thirds, and im good when it comes to knowing bird behaviour. However I don’t know anything at all about the creative side.

It would be a great help to know which of these photos are “good” and which are not - and why. Are any good?

Really appreciate all the help I’ve gotten in this sub. This is my favourite sub as you are very welcoming :)

Canon 1300D. Is this lens combo a good deal? Worth getting?

Someone I bumped into at a birding event has just upgraded his gear and so is selling off his old stuff. He’s offered me this deal for use with my 1300D - but a lot of what im seeing online suggest it isn’t really suitable.

What do you all think? Worth it?

TW - Sexual pleasure post both top and bottom surgery

I was talking to my partner last night about my experiences of sexual pleasure, and we realised that pre op/people considering surgery may be surprised by my experiences - though they’re normal to me. Theres a lot of misinformation out there, and I just hoped my experience could be helpful to someone. Happy to answer any questions.

Put simply, pre top surgery I couldn’t stand to have my nipples touched.

Post top surgery my nipples are a key erogenous zone. Having my nippled played with (light/hard touch) is essentially a guaranteed, very strong, orgasm.

Pre bottom surgery I didn’t have orgasms very easily, and the ones I did have were underwhelming. Post phalloplasty I have mind blowing orgasms using only my penis (not stimulating my buried clitoris at all). These have got even better after vaginectomy. I produce fluid when I have a particularly strong orgasm.

I know people are worried about losing sexual pleasure if they pursue either surgery - I want it to be clear that there are lots of guys like me. This experience is so normal to me that it surprises me to remember that people believe you can’t have sensation post top or bottom surgery.

As I said, always happy to chat about this.

Hi guys, hoping you can help this inexperienced newbie

Just been paid and looking to update my Tamron 18-270mm lens to enable me to get better photos of birds. I am seeing I’ll need a lens that can cope in lower light (I’m in the UK), and that has a fast focus. I’m aware that my photo quality is limited by my basic camera, and I’m not against upgrading the body, but I was wondering what lens you’d recommend?

Second hand, budget max £1000
