I’m sorry, but huge eye roll at Pike

Season 1, we didn’t really get to know her but I was her stan. It hurt me that no one could see how much she was suffering. I loved her relationship with Grog. Season 2 they started to flesh her out more and she was growing on me and finding herself.

She started to piss me off in the episode they went to Hel with her decisions. She claims the others don’t care about anyone when she makes selfish decisions as well, okay then. She got her vestige and I couldn’t be more proud of her. I was certainly sad for her when Scanlan went with his daughter but it was her choice to go bar hopping with Grog, she could have gone home

Now season 4, she’s been steadily annoying me and the climax of her believing TWO for even one second is crazy to me. First she assumes everyone is enjoying life and having fun. For one, they deserve some respite (Percy and Vex literally died and were brought back), sure balls are being thrown but they’re also rebuilding the city, sure they’re on the high sea but they’re actually questing to complete Kiki’s aramenté. They didn’t reach out but did you?? Grog being torn apart is her fault as far as I’m concerned. It’s the same thing with Scanlan, yall complain that your friends don’t know you but do you know your friends? These people reopened a portal to save you. These people continued to risk their lives for the world, fighting dragons but your conclusion is that they caused the death of innocents?? All of your friends have lost something, so her acting like she’s the only one that knows loss is a huge eye roll. You’re trusting someone whose minions are killing people, cold blooded murder, but because the everlight isn’t speaking to you then suddenly it makes sense to join the people that employ demons. Go off queen, attack your friends. Kill them under the guise that death won’t matter anymore

I’ve never ranted so much but I’m so irritated

I didn’t write this to convince anyone, just to rant. Many of VM have made stupid decisions but this was the height of it. Abuse doesn’t give you an excuse to become an abuser. A reason doesn’t work as an excuse. She’s asking who heals her but did she ever open up to anyone? And anyways, Grog KEPT trying to talk to her but she kept brushing him off. I’m so glad Grog put him in her place.

What an end to a season💔

So far, I’m loving s6 so much

Booth literally never stopped loving Bones, yes, he’d have stayed with Hannah if she said yes but the emotional ties him and Brennan have… tbh I wouldn’t want to be in the middle, even if, like Hannah, I’m friends with the work wife. Esp when he loved the work wife first?

I’m finishing up episode 12 and Booth and Bones’ conversation about love… he oh so clearly still loves her. It’s sad to see for both their sakes but also sad for Hannah’s sake

I actually got into this show in its later seasons when it was airing on TV, so I knew who was gonna be together and all that, but I started binging it last month and it’s one of my fave shows now fr. I’m in med school and I’m also learning random facts through the show, it’s so fun!

Edit: and then opening of the next episode he wants to propose to Hannah😭 be patient my heart!

S5E16 The Part in the Sum of the Whole

My HEART😭😭 Booth the gambler, Bones the scientist. I felt both their pain as a scientist who loves taking chances (minus gambling lolol). The unknown is scary, which is why we do science but the chance is thrilling and you never know until you try. Ughh, I know they get together in the end but my poor heart. The funny thing is that science is all about “what ifs”. What ifs caused so many interventions and inventions

I just saw that it was the 100th episode and it was released on my birthday in 2010😭😭

They had the opportunity to do the funniest thing but Jared was in India! He started in Roswell but wasn’t available in the alien episode IN Roswell? Bummerrrr🤣

Does anyone have any theories as to why Agnes repeated the statement about never trusting a Pearl Girl after she told Daisy her secret?

Cause I don’t think it has to do with Becca’s dad. It’s been on my mind but gosh, I can’t think of any reason. So wanted to hear yalls theories!

Edit: I guess the answer is simple even if I was hoping it’s not😭😂 thanks for answering tho! Love this fandommm

Never have I had such sympathy for show only watchers

So I’m (well was) an avid reader and I love me some contemporary romance. Truly, I do NOT know how I’ve never heard of these books, maybe cause I grew out of the “jock boyfriend” phase fairly quickly. Either way, thank you fans of the book for loving it so much that it got picked up. When I first saw the trailer, it looked good but it still didn’t click that it was from a book, and either way, I don’t have time to read novels anymore.

I watched the show in one day, yup, absolutely adored it. It was so good. And then I opened Reddit… and the book readers were not happy😅😭 and that made me pretty sad

Like I said, me and books were besties for so long, so I’ve seen many a book I love be adapted into a movie or tv show, and while some do well, many are not the same, they don’t hold the soul of the book. I didn’t used to get pissed that show only’s would love the show, but I would be disappointed that what they’re loving and praising is just a tip of the iceberg for that world… and now I’m on the other side🤣

I LOVE this show, I think, and hope, that it’s an example of an adaptation going well. Strays from the source material, yes, but the show still has a soul and life. But from having been on the other side 95% of the time, I do thank book readers for their love that allowed us to even get the show. I know how hard it is to keep an open mind when the source is changed, but I think it’s easier when the source is changed but the soul is there(?) eg Harry Potter movies as opposed to let’s say, The Hating Game movie

Love yall, stay awesome!
