Libido on Wellbutrin and other antidepressant?

Hey! Has anyone had success with libido while on Wellbutrin and another antidepressant?
I was on Fluoxetine but it killed my libido. Then I started Sertraline, and same thing. Can’t taper off of Sertraline just yet because I go into withdrawal if I don’t take it same time consistently every day. (i.e. it stabilizes my irritability). I am still on Sertraline.
Do I still have a chance to benefit from the Wellbutrin regardless? Any experience/advice appreciated!

Just one question.

I’ve had no real side effects from this medication…except major insomnia. When does it stop?? I’ve been on it for 10 days. Going to university again in 2 weeks, and with all the trouble I already have with falling asleep because I cannot relax with every single minuscule noise going on, I am very worried I just WON’T sleep.

Edit: I take my medication at about 7 AM every morning.

Bus Pass and Routes Before Fall Term

I am moving into Brock Suites on September 1st, have mobility challenges at the moment, and will not have a car. Can I get my BUSU bus pass early, like on Move-In day? Do buses run to Brock/Pen Center before classes? Thanks!

Signs of Libido

I (19F) am wondering, what are signs your libido is coming back through using Wellbutrin?

I went on antidepressants at 15, and lost my libido almost immediately. It’s been so long since I’ve had feelings of a “crush” or any activity “down there” that I genuinely don’t know what it feels like to have a libido anymore. I have fond feelings of attachment toward friends, and the ability to recognize that someone is attractive, I just don’t feel that romantic/physical pull of attraction anymore. I have had crushes and felt love in the past, as well as physiological signs, so I know I am not asexual, but the antidepressants are making me feel like I am, and it’s very hard to live with knowing I have previously had the ability to feel physical/sexual and romantic attraction for others. So, I guess my question is, what are some signs it’s coming back?

Edit: I recently started Wellbutrin a week or so ago.

Shoes

Hey everyone! Wondering what kind of shoes everyone here is wearing. I 19F am going into my third year of university and I’m getting pretty tired of rocking the exact same running shoes/brand for the millionth year in a row.

I have finally found that Asics works really well for me, but I kinda wanna wear something like Adidas Campus 00s or New Balance 574s. I find a lot of my shoes don’t match the vibe of my clothes, and honestly I wish they did.

My feet are pretty flat, so I don’t even know if wearing shoes like these is possible.
Are there any shoe inserts you like to wear, any really comfortable shoes (any type - running shoes, rec shoes, everyday wear). Just looking for something different, but at the end of the day if running shoes are my thing that’s okay too.

Any experience and advice/suggestions is appreciated! :))

Allergic to Wellbutrin or More Sensitive to Allergens Because of it?? Maybe a side effect of starting??

Hey everyone I started Wellbutrin a week ago (XL 150 mg), and four days in, I got a rash on my arm with swelling, redness, raised bumps. But only on one one arm. I initially thought I had rubbed my arm on something local (I.e - around me) however, when it hadn’t gone away in over 24 hours even while using antihistamines, I thought it may be the Wellbutrin.

On the fifth day, rash started spreading but wasn’t as reactive as my arm. It was on my leg, and on the area around on my other knee. I stopped the med on the sixth day, and went to the doctor. Rash is slowly improving with antihistamines, as the Wellbutrin is still in my system. (4-7 days I think). But it gets itchy and flares up.

Doctor said they didn’t know whether it is an allergic reaction, side effect/adapting to the med, or a skin infection. Pretty mild rash and I have had no other allergy symptoms. They advised me to wait until the rash is gone, and then try restarting to see if it is an allergic reaction or not.

The Wellbutrin was helping with my ADHD, and libido that was completely taken away by my antidepressant I used to be on, and the one I am currently on. (Prozac, and then Sertraline.) Can’t go off of the Sertraline as I experience almost immediate withdrawal if I do not take it at a consistent time daily.

The Wellbutrin was doing good things, and I was having success with it right away. I guess I am just wondering, are there alternatives. I’m losing hope over here. I just wanna find myself again.

Any experiences are appreciated :))

Progress after PAO

Hey everyone!

I (19 F) had a PAO in April, and I am 13 weeks post-op this week.

I have mild Cerebral Palsy and had the PAO on my dominant leg, so it has been quite the ride. I was cleared to start weight-bearing at 11 weeks, (spasticity affects bone healing), and I have started taking a few steps without a walker today! I’ve also started incorporating weight lifting and resistance band into my other physio exercises these last few weeks, as well as getting out and about more, and enjoying my summer.

I’m just really excited that I am getting my independence back, and wanted to share that joy.

Pain 6 weeks post-PAO

Hello everyone,
I am wondering when has your pain diminished? I am 6 weeks out from a RPAO and still having spasms and pain with small movements such as internal/external rotation, lifting my leg off of surfaces, and bringing my hip joint to 90 degrees, and knee pain. Is this normal? I do have cerebral palsy so my muscles are a little bit tighter/contracted than normal. I am just worried because I went through with this surgery to be in less pain, and am not feeling less pain.
I am wondering if maybe I have done too much movement and just stressed out all of the joints and muscles/tendons. I am trying to be more independent.
I have not started weight bearing yet, and that was my only restriction. But I have an X-ray and follow up next week.
Also, what does weight bearing look like, is there a specific gradual process? I am probably going to be using a walker for a while still.
Any advice or experience is appreciated.
