The X-Files: I Want To Believe Director's Cut coming to Disney+ next month
Not sure how everyone feels about the movie, but I thought some of you might appreciate this.

I certainly don't try to be the center of attention in any situation, but I can't stand it when I'm talking to someone and another person interrupts without bothering to see if we're in a conversation. Two times that really aggravated me happened recently:
This past weekend, my family went to a classic car show. Our older son loves things like that, so we went mostly for him, but we all enjoyed it. Someone from our local news was there with his classic car (he had mentioned the car show one day on the news broadcast, which is how we found out about it), and even though he may not be a worldwide celebrity, it was neat to meet someone from the local news. We were talking to him, and he could not have been nicer; but in the middle of our conversation, other people walked up and butted right in to talk to him. We were going to ask to have a picture with the news guy, but we didn't get the chance when the other jerks interrupted. We did finally get a picture with him later, but it was still rude as hell for the other people to do that.
Then last night, our sons had a band concert at their high school. I was telling my wife about something while we were waiting for the concert to start, when two friends of our older son came and sat down behind us, and without even looking to see if anyone was talking, just started talking to my wife, interrupting me again. My wife is very nice to most people, and she turned away from me to talk to them. I had to wait until later to finish what I was telling her.
So a short PSA for people: Look to see if someone is actively in a conversation before you rudely interrupt. I do that myself so I'm not the one interrupting.
Anyone who watches the show knows that Hughie is a big Billy fan. In today's episode ("The Frenchman, the Female, and the Man Called Mother's Milk"), he's listening to "Goodnight Saigon"; then later, Butcher asks him to list his top ten Billy songs (I won't spoil why Butcher asks him).
Hughie says "...It would be so hard to rank them, there are so many, but if I had to:
"Okay, 'Scenes From an Italian Restaurant', which is like three songs in one, but I love them all.
'"The Entertainer', deep cut there.
'''Allentown', which, actually, is about the decline of Levittown, New York..."
Due to the circumstances of the scene, he doesn't get to finish his list.
Brad Paisley released the track from his "ongoing project", which he called Tacklebox, as well as tour dates. No word when, or if, the actual album will be released.
So that probably didn't actually happen (although I think they did meet at some point), but I thought this would be fun: Do you know what's interesting about that sentence? There's a word for it, too.
(Since this is barely related to Back to the Future, I expect it to be removed by the moderators, but I hope it doesn't.)
Widow's Bay, episode 3, "The Inaugural Swim". In the scene just before this, Mayor Tom Loftis (Matthew Rhys) tells a tourist about the event, "...just one of the island traditions. The mayor swims in the ocean every year to show that it's safe from...the island's history of ocean... dangers." And here he's in a meeting with his staff. The drawing on the chalkboard isn't quite the same, but it might just be a poor attempt at referencing Quint's.
I don't know for sure, but I'd imagine he enjoyed his guest appearances as Evan Drake. He seemed like he was having fun, and in episodes like this (season 6, episode 18, "Let Sleeping Drakes Lie"), it looked like they were all having a good time.
