James Dolan on the second apron - “There’s certain things in the NBA that you’d have to be suicidal to do.. One of them is called the second apron. We cannot go into the second apron. I’ll write as big of a check as possible, but I can’t write a check that goes into the second apron."

Knicks owner James Dolan was asked if the Knicks could keep their championship team together and his response was no because of the second apron. I think this is the first time an owner has come out and spoken so negatively about the second apron. Us fans know it has been handicapping teams moves the last few years but now ownership are publicly disparaging it.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar sold 4 championship rings, MVP award and other items for $2.8 million. All going to youth education programs. "When it comes to choosing between storing a championship ring or trophy, or providing kids with an opportunity to change their lives, the choice is simple. Sell it all”

Kareem is one of the all time good guys when it comes to athletes.

“"Looking back on what I have done with my life, instead of gazing at the sparkle of jewels or gold plating celebrating something I did a long time ago, I'd rather look into the delighted face of a child holding their first caterpillar and think about what I might be doing for their future.

"That's a history that has no price."

Their not perfect but I really enjoyed the musical revivals from last season

As a new musical fan, revivals are fun because they’re always new to me. I have no prior experience going in. The revivals last season were so much fun, crazy amount of talent involved.

Ragtime - Deserved all the Tony’s and acclaim it got. Might be my all time favorite opening number.

Chess - Underrated imo, whole cast delivered and the songs are bangers. The book is not as much of a confusing mess as I was told. Nicholas Christopher wow.

Rocky Horror Show - Fun, vibrant, and energetic love letter to 1975 cult classic film. Loved the set design. Luke Evans and Stephanie Hsu steal the show.

And I still need to see Cats!

I know this last season might have disappointed some in terms of quality and quantity of new musicals but the revivals really delivered imo.

Backrooms has broken the A24 opening weekend record on opening day (38.41 million) Will more than TRIPLE the previous mark.

Kind of insane. Civil War had the record for A24 with $25,537,368.

Backrooms passed it by grossing $38.41 million on Friday (including previews). It’s tracking to more than triple the weekend of Civil War.

It was cool seeing the actress (Violet McGraw) who played young Yelena from Black Widow reprise the role in Thunderbolts for the void sequences.
