How do you feel being called delusional? Do you think it's true?

Readers read the LN. Saw how the relationship between Kiyozune progressing over the year with many moments like smile scene, how Ayanokoji joked about Ichika being his ex-gf in front of Horikita, Koji hugging horikita, Kiyo teased Horikita by drawing his face closer to her, the foreshadowing scene between Koji & Manabu's talk, the banter between them signaling how he was comfortable with Horikita's presence, calling her in the cold morning to meet in person to have that meaningless conversations, sleeping beauty scene in Y2, constantly asking for her health in Y2, Kiyo leaving the class to lead horikita's development, thought about how other people also having similar conversations with them, wanting to know the reason horikita stop smiling, Ichika aware of him caring for horikita, Koenji calling him out for being unable to protect horikita after leaving the class, Koji calling their relationship as 'unique' & more..

Delusional? Reading too much? How do you feel about it?

I want to talk about haruka

I'm suspicious with her. Ever since early Y3, she has been approaching Ayanokoji with clear interest. She likes him/have crush on ayanokoji.

Ayanokoji in the other hand, clearly entertaining her. Even in V4, he accepted Haruka's invitation to spend time together. I vaguely remember but didn't Koji rejected her approach in Y2 but now in Y3, he entertained the idea?

I personally feel that Haruka is a selfish individual & Koji accepted her invitation in V4, means that he feel like there will come a time where Haruka will betray horikita's class for her own selfishness & become a liability for Horikita's class.

Plus, iirc Akito has feeling for Haruka, if Ayanokoji going to expel Haruka, wouldn't that make Akito resent Koji & motivate him to contribute more as an asset in 4 class battle or when going against koji?

Ayanokoji clearly playing a long game. With the way Haruka behaving in Y3, does anyone suspect that she was the one that leaked VIPs info to Koji in V3?

However, whether she's a spy or the one that leaked the information is still ambiguous. That doesn't change the fact that Ayanokoji has his eyes on Haruka in case she intends to betray horikita's class & becomes a liability going forward.

What fact that Arisu meant in Y2V9.5?? Has it been revealed??

In Y2V9.5, it was implied that Arisu had idea of what Koji's goal in Y3 onwards. She mentioned about a fact & she couldn’t anticipate it (she's expelled) . Is the fact already being revealed? I thought I was missing something here. Also, that fact will be the first step in changing Koji the way he never thought possible.

She couldn’t help but want to tell him, but that was still a secret. It was precisely because she didn’t know, because she couldn’t anticipate it, that there was fun to be found in what lay ahead

“I promise that this fact will be the first step in changing you, in a way you never thought possible.” - Arisu

"Inextricably intertwined"

Inextricably

When someone’s life is inextricably intertwined with another, it means their destinies, emotions, and daily realities are so deeply connected that they cannot be separated without causing major disruption or distress. It describes a profound level of dependency, shared history, and mutual influence.

This is just a simpler interpretation of it. Then, if I recall the word that also being used was "intertwined"

It was implied how strong the connection it is & how inseparable it will be.

Further explanation (from my friend, she just searched it):

Inextricably is an incredibly strong, deliberate word choice. When an author uses it to describe a future bond, they are not just saying the characters will become close. They are forecasting an unavoidable, permanent shift in their destinies

Here is exactly what an author means by using that word:

  1. Inevitability and Fate: The characters have no choice in the matter. No matter what they do, how much they fight it, or where they run, their paths will collide and merge. Their connection is driven by fate, plot design, or overwhelming circumstance

  2. Destruction if Separated: The literal definition of "inextricable" is something that cannot be untied or disentangled. By using it, the author implies that trying to split these two characters apart later in the story would completely break or destroy them. One cannot exist normally without the other.

  3. Total Interdependence: Their futures are locked together. A choice made by Character A will instantly and permanently alter the life of Character B. They can no longer have independent storyline, their successes, failures, tragedies and victories are now shared.

  4. High Literary Stakes: Authors use this heavy phrasing to signal to the reader that this relationship is the central anchor of the book. It sets up high emotional stakes, warning you that whatever happens to these two will shape the entire climax of the story.

I have some questions 🤔

It's just general questions. I would like to know your opinions/informations regarding these. Thank you!

  1. The clue that Nanase mentioned in V4 could be related something or someone. What's your opinion about it?

  2. When Ayanokoji will realize about Ishigami & Horikita's conversation in V2? Could be kiyo is not going to know about it but soon, he will get the idea of it, right? Especially horikita is trying to find out about Kiyo's origin.

  3. I know the COTE eng translation is different compared to raw Japanese translation. What is the Japanese fans' opinion/view of Kiyozune's conversation in V4? (i really want to know)

With recent horikita & Koji's conversation, did it feel similar to Y1 & Y2? (Similarities & parallel)

I can't fully remember but does any of you remember how both of them talked to each other after strained relationship in Y1 & Y2? If I recall, horikita was the one that approached him first in Y1/Y2 too. As time goes by, it became a full banter between them.

The parallel in Y1/Y2 was how they gotten closer in Y2 compared to Y1. There were similarities & parallel in it. Anyone remember?

Edit: Pls don't mind my grammar.

Do you think Xikers member lacks of "it factor"?

I saw a discussion about it & one of comment stated that Xikers lack of "it factor" or they doesn't have that star power.

What do you think of this? There's a lot of factors why they lack of popularity, mainly because of KQ's promotion. But what do you think of the statement about them lacking of IT factor or star power? I want to know your opinion on this matter.

Mixed feeling...Please enlighten me

I just finished the anime. Peak af even though, I was having a hard time to understand military/mecha jargon. I'm not an english speaker too. If I start reading the light novel, do you think it will be easy for me to understand it? I can search through dictionary/Google if I don't understand certain words but what I'm worried about is military/mecha jargon. (idk if you get what I'm trying to say here).

I hope you guys can enlighten me about this. Thank you for your help!

Do his emotions override his logical thinking or does he still hide his feelings very well?

Based on V4, seems like his emotions override his logical thinking but at the same time, it's not? I am so confused with this.

Why Koji's weakness easily exposed to ichinose & Ryuen but not to horikita?

Horikita asked Koji why he lose but he deliberately avoid that question.

I don't think horikita will play with his "weakness" like Ryuen or Ichinose, playing with emotions etc.

Is this his short term planning? I genuinely asking because I really don't see any reason for koji to hide it.

Looking at other leaders, don't you feel glad that horikita able to stay focus on her goal?

Not trying to diminish other leaders, but it's painfully obvious how fixated honami & Ryuen towards Koji.

Honami wanting to gain Koji's love, affection.

Ryuen wanting to defeat kiyo, playing around with his "weakness" (it's not wrong for trying to defeat Koji)

I feel like both of them (Honami, Ryuen) missing out important things because being so fixated on Koji. Both of them are so capable, so I can't wait for their future actions.

But horikita, I'm seriously glad how she able to stay focus on her goal. Trying her best to understand Koji's action in V4. Wasn't it amazing? Yes, it's simple yet amazing.

Again, this is based on my observation. So, please don't take this negatively. Both leaders (Ryuen, Honami are indeed capable) but they can do much better without being fixated on Koji especially Honami.

I really love it that horikita is never part of this messy romance harem & love experiment !!

Okay, okay don't get me wrong here.

I don't know whether y'all notice or not but Horikita was/is never part of this messy romance harem/experiment.

Unlike Kei, Hiyori or Ichinose, the author clearly stems her away from this kind of thing. Even though currently Horikita is questioning her feelings for kiyo (likely it's love), I'm glad she is the only one who focused on her goal to graduate in Class A. Horikita is so consistent with it. She is professional too. I hope we all can appreciate this. The author clearly put her in more important roles such as discovering Kiyo's origin.

Horikita got good moments with mc but all of that happened outside of love experiment, far from messy romance & it happened behind the scenes. (im so thankful about this fact)

Her role is not limited to romance only. About romance, she will learn about it eventually. It's just a matter of time, really.

I hope we can appreciate this ❤️

About Ike....

Since Shinohara expelled, I think Suzune will need to deal with someone like Ike in the next volume. I know it's too early to talk about next volume.

I dislike that horikita will be the one who needs to handle Ike's frustration as a class leader. He genuinely useless & will definitely makes more trouble in future volumes.

Also, Koji highkey targeting Ike as well, tbh. If not this volume, Ike should be expelled in the next volume.

P/S: based on spoilers, only Shinohara were expelled. Im not sure about anyone else. Do inform me if im wrong

Is this part of Koji's bigger plan?

Ichinose saw both of (Kiyohiyori).

Since there's no full context....ain't no way Koji didn't realize ichinose, right? How come? Is this purposely done?

Is this part of Koji’s bigger plan?

Purposely lose for the sake of hiyori? Making her an easy target? Not only Ichinose, his own class too. Making Ryuen think that he found Koji's real weakness..? Why i feel like Koji is putting small things everything until everything finally connected?

I'm questioning everything here...The way everything is spiralling around, it seems like the hints will be connected soon? Hints has been thrown everywhere.

Im quite dissatisfied with Koji's development in V4 (based on spoilers)

Yeah, i know I should wait for whole volume but let me rant a little bit.

First of all, let's talk about Ichinose. I'm dissapointed with her new progress. I always thought she is sketchy when she said she didn't care whether Koji will reciprocate her feelings or not but here we are in V4 (spoilers). Ichinose is ready to target hiyori.

Another thing, I'm amazed with how intentionally easy it was to assume a 'weakness'. Ryuen seemed to believe that hiyori is Koji’s weakness. Like bfr, it definitely won't be that easy.

The fact that Koji abandoned his new class for the sake of this 'new experiment' is actually quite laughable. How come it was easy for him to reveal hiyori as weakness? Revealed it in front of ichinose too, then ichinose going to target hiyori for the sake of 'love'. I felt this was intentional (aligned with his OAA Y3 monologue: wanting to manipulate people based on their emotions)

Another laughable thing here was how Koji confessed his feeling for Hiyori while still assuming whether it's love or not (and..he didn't love her) Worse, he is ready to dive deep into this new experiment. Hiyori, girl you should run. Another textbook of love smh (EDIT: SORRY GUYS, HE DIDN'T CONFESS TO HIYORI, IT WAS HIYORI THAT CONFESSING TO HIM)

Though, maybe the reason why Koji abandoned his class because he became immersed with this newfound feeling, i still feel like this is just a setup for him to manipulate things further.

The only good thing from spoilers is that horikita is winning. My girl, im proud of you. And Ibuki is not expelled. Good. I just need more of WR's progression & horikita being happy

Do you remember 1st year student girl? Do you think she'll interfere?

I can't recall, but I do remember she was mentioned as someone with strong physical skill? Do you think she'll interfere year 3 students in V4?

Similarities that I found in horikita & Hiyori's scenes.

First of all, don't get mad at me for pointing things out.

In this scene where Koji said he followed hiyori through his eyes. Isn't that similar with what he did to horikita for 2 yrs before leaving the class?

Or when koji is zoning out when looking at hiyori & wanting to talk with her? Didn't it feel similar with Y2V11 scene? In Y2V11, Koji was zoning out when saw horikita before their non-related class conversation that Koji initiated for her. Coincidentally, Koji also going out of his way to talk to horikita during that time in the very early morning. Am I tripping or was it similar...?

Another question: Since the author sneakily emphasized Koji’s averted gaze from horikita 2 times in Y3, do you think we'll get another averted gaze's scene?

Again, don't get mad at me for asking. I'm so scared to point things out here given people here might dislike it or think I'm being delusional 😭

Suzune confirms her suspicion about Kiyonami's alliances?

My prediction is through this conversation with Honami, horikita finally able to confirm her suspicion about the alliances between kiyo & honami.

u/Nearby_Ship5811 — 2 months ago

I hope Suzune get good teammates in V4 😭😭‼️‼️

Please, let someone useful like Sudo or any useful person from other classes.

Dont give her someone useless. Please please
