My input jack on this epi LP studio is abnormally strong lol. It takes some serious effort to get the cable out, have any of yall had this on yours?

Personally I dig it, reminds me of an early Strat

So I hate the one that teles come with. It’s hard to switch it out of bridge position imo with the round knob so I put this breaker switch lookin one on it and it definitely works better but personally I think it’s pretty ugly.

What do y’all put on yours if you have switched it?

The chambered ash body is seriously impressive. 6 lbs and it’s hard to pick up anything else now!

The guitar has a slight rattle that seems to be coming from the volume & tone knob area. Is this common on teles to have a bit of play or does it just need a little tune up? Thanks yall 🤘🏻

Personally I’m eying that SJ 200 pretty hard. It’s the only way I’ll probably ever own an SJ cuz I’m not paying 5k + for one 😂. If you do own one of these Epiphones how would you compare them to a Martin, Taylor, Yamaha etc at a similar price. Of course I don’t expect them to be as bright as those Gibsons typically have a more prominent low end from the ones I’ve played.

Were you happy with your purchase? That’s a lot of guitar for the price I’m pretty tempted.

This thing just oozes rock n roll. I don’t own any actual Gibsons yet but I have another Les Paul studio epi from last year and personally I prefer this one. Comes with a rosewood fret board with binding, board was a bit dry when it came but I hit it with some Dunlop 65 and it plays like butter.

Could probably use a setup but man those P90s sound kick ass, definitely go check these out!

I grew up playing guitar but quit for a while, I got back into playing about a year ago and I bought the 70th anniversary 2 tone burst MIM. Honestly this guitar sounds like a dream and the pick ups are IMO exactly how they should be.

Recently though I saw a Honeyburst American performer and I can’t stop thinking about it.

Is it really worth the upgrade? Other than made in the US and a rosewood fret board (personally I prefer the maple on strats) is there really a difference in playability/tonality?

Or is the only actual answer just keep mine and also buy the American performer 😂

For the money this figure is very well done! $40 usd on Amazon, face details are definitely better than average and it’s about 9-10 inches in height, go grab ya one!
