Hey there! I'm job searching right now for a state IT role. Today I applied for a backfill position with the DOH. The recruiter reached out to me through Indeed chat and later sent me an email asking for my resume, references and DL copy. I have two questions.
Edit: I've decided to rescind my application on this. There's too many red flags. Thanks to those of you that provided me with more information.
Hey everyone! I'm wondering if anyone has ever experienced this and what tips you might have for this kind of thing. For context, back in March I started PT after suffering severe inflammation in my left knee. Nothing was torn and my doctor suggested that I would just need to continue my stretch routine and strength training after my PT ended. 5 months in and I'm doing very well, however I've been wearing the same trail runner shoe this entire time. I used to wear dress shoes or loafers daily, but when the injury first started I had this wierd *impact* feeling when walking as if my upper leg was falling hard into my lower leg. Since then I only felt comfortable wearing this one specific shoe, but at some point I'll need to move onto something else either out of necessity or want. I miss dress shoes and my current shoes are wearing out and discontinued. I recently bought the newest generation of the trail runner and went on a mixed pavement 2 mile walk. Everything seems fine so far, but I'm still wary of getting back into other shoes without ruining my progress. I feel like I'm hyper aware of every movement and bit of soreness in that leg now out of paranoia. What should I do? Should I just break in the shoes more and ease back into my routine or should I take extra steps to be careful? Ultimately I'd like to get back into intense hiking so I want to take any precautions I can to be safe.
Hey everyone! I'm looking for alternatives to the Salomon thundercross as it appears they are being discontinued. I hike mostly in the ADK so a super aggressive tread is a must. I also suffer from a couple of leg injuries so I would prefer to find something as close to the original drop height and insole specs as possible for maximum comfort. I've heard a few suggestions like the speedcross, but any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
These are the current specs for reference:

Basically the title. Calls sounds fine, but in-game audio sounds distant and compressed. I'm also running the BTD600 adapter and I've permanently turned off hands free telephony. Is there any way to fix this?
Update: This is my first experience with wireless peripherals so I wasn't aware of the conflict bluetooth could have with different systems. I love this headset, but it won't fit my needs so I'll be returning them in exchange for a pair of 2.4ghz earbuds and a proper desk mic for reassurance. I would still highly recommend these headphones for pure audio, just not gaming.
I've created keycaps that highlight the city's brownstones, art deco state buildings and brutalist architecture of the main plaza. Each colorway is a slightly enhanced match of the true colors you would find around the historic district.

Hi guys! I'm looking for your thoughts on an idea I had in mind. I've noticed that starting off a hike at the loj often requires you to park a mile or more away from the actual loj due to how quickly it fills up. I've even arrived at 2 AM on an off-season day and the loj was still packed. So what if I parked a mile away and rode a small e-bike to the loj and chained it up there to save the mileage? Is that allowed, is it bad etiquette, should I just toughen up and expect to add an extra 2-3 miles to my hike? I'm curious on what people think about this.
