I know some will disagree with my Catwoman but i'm tired to see her walking around the pot if she needs to be with Bruce, so here's mine of a sane cou

*Sane couple

I give a brief glimpse of my own vision of the notes of my fanfic, who is not full written, it goes hand in hand with Selina's evolution, which is quite unique and personal so don't take it personally :

When Bruce becomes Batman at 30 and his first adventure pits him against Falcone, the Penguin, and Magpie (inspired by the version in *Beware the Batman* where she's also a psychotic killer), and he meets Catwoman (25 years old) who lives in the Narrows, stealing from innocent people while remaining suspicious of them, but who protects Holly Robinson (13), Selina steals a valuable jewel from an innocent jewelry store, unaware that the store belonged to the Penguin, who then hires Magpie to retrieve it. After a confrontation, and as Bruce and Selina's relationship develops, Magpie learns Selina's true identity. To emotionally weaken her, she decides to kill Holly, which devastates Selina and drives her into a vengeful rage. However, during the climax, when the Penguin is defeated and his empire destroyed, Selina tries to kill Magpie. Batman convinces her not to, explaining that she would spiral downward and that he cares for her because he loves her. Selina refuses and instead offers Magpie to the police as a sign of peace. Magpie is then sent to Arkham Asylum.

Batman makes her understand that killing criminals and robbing innocent people isn't the solution, and Selina decides to stop stealing from innocent people and start stealing from criminals to serve the police and justice system (she steals incriminating documents, gathers evidence of corruption, steals a mafia registry, steals terrorist plans, and infiltrates a criminal network to obtain information. She plans her operations carefully, communicating with the Bat-Family and considering the consequences). She thus becomes one of the first founding members of the Bat-Family, developing a healthy relationship with Bruce. Initially, she spends a lot of time at Wayne Manor, but Bruce buys her an apartment on the top floor of a renovated Art Deco building in a safer, more modest neighborhood.

Then, a few months later, Dick (10) arrives, witnessing his parents' deaths in a trapeze accident caused by Tony Zucco. Bruce and Selina, in plain clothes in the audience, welcome Dick, following Selina's advice, knowing she doesn't want to see another child follow a terrible path like Holly. Bruce, as usual, becomes the father figure, and Selina becomes a surrogate mother to Dick, being more present for him when Bruce isn't there. Bruce then realizes the danger posed by Zucco, who has since disappeared. Dick runs away to find Zucco, and Batman and Catwoman rescue him and reveal their identities. Bruce and Selina initially decide that Dick will mostly live his life independently and that, in smaller amounts of time, he will train to become Robin.

The following year, Batgirl (13) appears, still grieving the death of her mother from cancer, but finding her footing again thanks to Catwoman, who acts as a big sister to her.

The following year, Dick (12) becomes Robin and reunites with Tony Zucco, but, influenced by Batman's wisdom, Catwoman's warmth, and Batgirl's clear-headedness (14), doesn't kill him. He turns Zucco over to the police, and Robin becomes the heart of the Bat-Family, enjoying a sweet and innocent romance with Barbara. Dick's humor and kindness bring a genuine smile back to her face. Selina becomes a ballet teacher, instructing children and teenagers, and even participates in charitable work for underprivileged children. The four of them become a Bat-Family

Do you agree that members of the League need to rest sometimes and live their civilian lives with their girlfriends and families to make the earth they live believable ?

In the notes of my DC Universe fanfic, 70% of the heroes' time is devoted to their free time, 20% to heroic activities, and 10% to existential threats.

With the fact that Perchance to Dream was a great episode, there something i noticed...

One of the things i like in the episode is Selina who his not manipulative but caring and sweet over Bruce while keeping her playful and teasing side. I would have wish that Selina was like that in the reality of the DCAU by evolve herself into a hero and a sane wife to Bruce... Thanks Bruce Timm, you didn't want BatCat but BruceBabs...

Which headgear suits the Scarecrow best for you ? The traditional pointed hat or the pointed hood ?

Personally, I like the hood that he had in the Arkham Games (especially Asylum). Sure it modernizes his look but it gives him a "playing at being Death" vibe.

Do you prefer Martian Manhunter, in his suit, to have trunks or pants and being bare chest or chest covered ? My personal choice for J'onn is bare chest and and having pants to keep the wise barbarian vibe by modernizing it.

Aside of the Hans Zimmer theme or from the 70s series, what musical themes of other movies, TV shows, or video games—from different franchises—remind you of the character Diana ? My personal choices are James Horner's Achilles Theme from the movie Troy and Reign of the Septims from Oblivion.

I know some of you aren't fans of this idea, but for those who are interested: if you had to give Diana an OC girlfriend in a fanfic you write yourself, who would that character be based on their name, backstory, personality, job, relationship with Diana, and the house and city they live in ?

In a few notes from a DC Universe fanfic, my OC is Elena Armitage (43 years old). She's a wise and mischievous historian and diplomat who lives in Gateway City in her mansion on a hill a little outside of Gateway City (an existing metropolis, I know, but one facing the sea and boasting modern architecture with Greek and Art Nouveau influences).

In her backstory, she is a human orphan who was adopted by an American military captain of English descent named Elias Armitage and a renegade Amazon named Calypso. They formed a couple, with Elias teaching her about simple human life, and they raised Elena in Gateway City at the Armitage mansion. Elias taught Elena the values of equality among humans, and Calypso taught her daughter how to assert herself as a woman without resorting to violence. This family lived happily for years.

When Elena was 17, her father died in the war, which devastated Calypso, as he was her first true love among men. But she and Elena continued to live, and when Elena was 30, having reached a point where she was forging a career as a diplomat, her mother died of grief. Elena placed the body in a boat, and the sea carried it to Themyscira.

From there, Elena continued her career as a diplomat and historian until Diana arrived in men's world. Their love is based on trust, wisdom, warmth, balance, and playful teasing. Elena is Diana's moral anchor and refuge, supporting Wonder Woman in her speeches. Elena loves to stroll through the city with Diana when she is in her identity of Diana Prince, wearing glasses to disguise her identity like Clark Kent, going for ice cream and gazing at the sea.

Diana real age is 130 but she is 30 in appareance, she has a amazonian knowledge and experience but she's still young in men's world.

My world is in the style of the 50s-70s with the freshness of the early 2000s. So, Elena's look is a 1950s-style blazer and pencil skirt in a deep fir green, paired with a burgundy open-neck blouse. She accessorized with black pumps and a gold circle necklace, and her mahogany red hair was shoulder-length, slightly off-center, with Hollywood waves.

Ah yes, and Steve Trevor and Etta Candy are in couple like in George Perez's run.

What is your favorite Joker Theme from any movies, tv show and video games ?

My favorites are Bathroom Dance from the 2019 film, I have a big soft spot for that one for its strange, grating, sadistic and manipulative side, and my second favorite is Waltz to the Death by Danny Elfman for its carnivalesque and theatrical side.

When you create your own DC canon for creativity and stories, if you had to give your universe a timeless aesthetic/atmosphere of one or a mix of different eras, what would it be and why ?

Personally, in the notes for my fanfic, it would be an aesthetic and style of the 40s-50s-70s with the freshness and advanced tech of the early 2000s to respect the roots of DC Comics' creation and the Silver Age without being too goofy, given that I grew up in the early 2000s, imagining a world of advanced technology, which would give it a retro-futuristic vibe while keeping each identity of each cities from the League's members and the traditional authenticity of certain iconic elements like art deco, gothic, antiquity etc.

If Willem Dafoe wasn't cast as Norman/Green Goblin Spider-Man (2002), who could be the other best choice for the role fou you ? My pick would have been Ciarán Hinds (images from Tomb Raider early 2000s movie).

u/Necessary_Animal93 — 3 months ago

Unpopular Opinion : I prefer Flash to be a character similar to Spider-Man: a hero who runs fast and can control his speed, rather than a time-traveler who, as a civilian (Barry or Wally), is just a regular guy who isn't destined to change the fate of the universe.
