ENFER AI setting

In ENFER Local Host. I see three options for AI in ExecutionMode. Deactivated, Full and Minimal. Deactivated is obvious, meaning no AI control so you have to swap into it to command it. I notice that you should not do this for minor faction as it seem to lock the game as soon as you try to end turn, stuck in pending.

Full is default and regular.

Minimal... surprisingly, doesn't seem to do anything different from Full. I thought it might control the research, building, etc but leave fleet control to you or other way around... yet there is no difference.

So I am wondering if you guys know what exactly does minimal do in ENFER?

Maybe it just determine behavior/decision tree where full actually think it through and minimal just try to get it out as soon as it can without thinking if it fitting or good choice?

Wisdom of the Past?

Don't know if I spell that quest name right but it one where you explore two ruins curiousity to get new ship from Naklam faction.

The issue is. I pretty much already explored and search every curiousity in the galaxy like 10 to 20 turns ago. So there is nothing to explore. Does this quest spawn new one or am I just fucked? I don't remember if I see notification that says that I explore 100% of map over several days of playing Vaulter, so I just sending my explorers to flinging their proble into outer galaxy and core of the galaxy just to see if I miss a remote system but I doubt it.

Any idea what I can do to finish this quest or am I just screwed and stuck on this quest being incompleted because there is no ruins?

Camping Pawn Quest

I understand that you need to camp in a different region and then go back to build up that counter.

However, the camping. Does that mean I need to set up camp and that it? Or do I need to pass time into morning/night too? I assume equip skills without set up camp does not count?

Post-Game World, what disappear upon arrival or new game plus.

I struggle to find clear answer to this. When you get to post-game world after sacrifice yourself to dragon at end as well after defeat the true final boss and trigger new game plus.

What disappear? What carryover? I am confused on this. I know you keep your level, skills. Don't know if you keep maister skills or not. I know seeker coins is same, aka not renews. Quests get reset. You lose houses. Affinities reset (Include your main pawn?). What about foods? Do they get expired? I saw some posts mention about time skip between sacrifce self and wake up in post-game world, so all food will expired so best to turn them into ration or sell them off.

Anything else I need to know before going into post-game world or even finish that and get new game plus?

(Old) Interactive JumpDoc and possible JumpChain text RPG game.

This is old post. I thought I post this long ago but apparently never did and it was in my draft for five years now. I have been taking break from this project for four years now since I went back to university and recently graduated last May and moving to Japan next week with my wife. I planned to return to this project afterward especially now that I have LLM coding aid to rapidly get most of this set up from my many notes and code drafts that I have laying around that I never got around to finish then I can use these to pitch and see if I can find people to help develop this project even better especially in arts and writing since LLM can only do so much those two areas.

Without further ado, here is my forgotten post.

I am working on Interactive JumpDoc that is basically similar to Interactive CYOA for our regular CYOA but in the format of Jump Doc, which you guys are used to. This is not the main focus, serving more as taste before I plunge you into my game. You can see it as character creation before you start to play the game.
The first jump is my own creation which I find suitable to start Jumping from considering it has World Gate, which your benefactor can tweak to enable you to jump from there, either by my future multiverse games, of which this game is only the beginning and a taste, or by your other Jump Doc and imagination.
I try to tweak this Jump Doc to enable you to use it in your imagination as it currently focuses on the game features as there is only so much you can do in a text-based game anyway. Cant add drama action perks if there are no pictures to show it and all that jazz.
I hope to one day create simple editors that enable common people like you to create a game and add it to the main game, so other people can play your jump. In another word, I hope to create a system that can push the standard of quality of this community upward just as Interactive Format have done for CYOA community, albeit better considering they have clicking buttons and score counting while we have games even if it only texts with few pictures.
The format of the game is similar to Corruption of Champion and Trial in Tainted Space but without companions, or at least as its own person rather than part of you and map due to their complex, altogether they are work in progress, they most likely will not be in by the time of this release. and no NSFW, at least until I become more successful and have content as well team to work on for NSFW contents.
Now without further wait, let play a little game, shall we?

WotR TTRPG edition

I am curious if anyone here who didn't just play WotR video game but also read or even play TTRPG version. What is your thoughts on that? How is it differ from video game counterpart.

For me, the three biggest difference so far as I am only in 4th book right now out of 6 book. Midnight Isles.

Storm King kill our beloved silver dragon in beginning of the game and whole tutorial is nearly completely different rather than Lord of Locust or Avatar of it. Not to mention Rift warden too.

Mystic path is different but TTRPG have them focused as origins for PC so they can affect story in a way where video game have more cooler mystic paths but pretty much same origin with mother being the architect of world wound.

TTRPG really does not hold back on fact that demons and the likes are vulgar and some even try to seduce you, etc. They almost don't hold on R rated so to speak. Video game make demons more tamed and beat them up evil rather than genuinely filthy and corruptive evil.

I am curious what else did you guys notice or enjoy, etc between TTRPG and video games version.

Emperor of Etherscape. Manamutant word origin?

My question is why are they called manamutant and not ethermutant? This is asked because mana was used as comparasion reference of what ether is like but that ether is far more powerful. It still odd that manamutant was created to both stored and generated ether within their body/spirit. So why are they called manamutant when it should be ethermutant just like ethermancer, ethermancy, ethertech, ethermech, ether-whatever.

So I wondering if there is reason for this strange naming choice.

Emperor of Etherscape. Ether origin?

This is for u/Sin-God, but if others know, then they can answer. Do you know if it ever stated anywhere where the ether that populated the etherscape came from?

Academy and Start of the Game Heroes Lore?

I am curious what is the lore of the game when you first start the game. For example. Playing United Empire as part of tutorial. I just start out with a planet and start spreading out. Did some quests until I get one that give me Starter Hero. His background says that he already out and around and became a legend who then left for Academy a mysticial school for Heroes. The quest to get him basically state that we know him and that he is in Academy and that we need to do something to make him want to join us again. Not to mention there is galaxy also quest to find Academy first. How did we know about Academy when it was unknown to us?

My question is how is he already out there beyond our system before the start of the game when we just start expanding. How did we already know of Academy? How did he even find Academy and us not know anything about it much less so know that he is at Academy rather than disappear and end up in MIA record when he disappear from the system?

I assume same is the case with other factions and their Starter Heroes. What is the lore here Am I missing something here? Maybe United Empire is already spareborne before start of the game? Maybe Academy or their heroes already visit United Empire homeworld before they went spaceborne and so they know of it long before they went space.
