Is Nancy ok?

Is Nancy ok?

Wolf spider behaviour question: Not sure if you guys remember Nancy, the mother wolf spider who lives on our property. She recently had many, MANY babies, and I used to check on her every day or so, basically just peeked down her tunnel to say hi.
Anyway, this last week I have not seen Nancy come to the entrance of her home at all, and I shone a little light down there and can’t see her, not even a leg.
Do wolf spiders move into different tunnels? Is it something to do with her children growing up?
I just hope she’s ok coz she’s huge and a cool spood.

Sweet huntsman family

I only realised recently how many adorable jumping spiders there are in Australia so I was trying to find some around my property. No luck finding any but I did find this adorable huntsman family living inside some bark. Lots like a multigenerational huntsman apartment. I couldn’t add video and a photo in the post so I’ll add a photo of one of them in a comment.

Palestinians forced to demolish own homes to make way for Israeli theme park

At the bottom of a steep and densely populated valley just below Jerusalem’s old city walls, the earth has been shaken in recent weeks by jackhammers and bulldozers.
These have been the sounds of Jerusalem for decades as the Israeli state has relentlessly sought to stamp a uniformly Jewish identity on to the occupied east of the city, while erasing its Palestinian character.

Gumtree-dwelling buddy

Just saw this spood on a giant gumtree in our backyard. Haven’t seen one of these before so just thought it was cool.

Baby huntsman right?

Pretty sure it’s a baby badge hunstman - we’ve just had lots of wolfies around so thought I’d check.
Sorry for the shitty pics. My phone still sucks.

▲ 6 r/moths

We have a lot of hawk moths “born” on our property. It’s so fascinating to see their little exuvias left behind. ❤️

Just wanted to share my sweet boy Gimli and his chicken sister, Ostara. She always wants to nap right next to him. 😍😍

Just love them so much.

(They’ve grown up together).
