Long shot but I’m a descendent of “Jane Cheraw” who married Thomas Etheridge. Although not much of her carried over into me, I’d like to know if any of you are familiar with this tribe and/or family and could tell me more. Her granddaughter was Amy Creech, one of my grandmothers from afar. Their tribe only hosted 510 and by 1768, reduced to around 50, so I’m not giving my hopes up with finding any living descendants or active tribal members being that Saura joined the Catawba Issa Tribe and moved west. When I’m overwhelmed with grief or sadness, I have a thing that I do of laying on my floor and stroking my arm. In other times, I’ve noticed that I sit up and cry silently, not loudly, while my breaths skip to try to calm myself down. I move slightly from side to side while silently crying and stroke my arm as well. My biggest trigger is overthinking about being alone for the rest of my life being that I’ve faced a lot of death and loss. What’s your version of a meltdown and how do you handle it?

To the one who was beaten, the hands of the perpetrator will never come close to the kingdom of God.

To the child touched, your autonomy is forever yours in the resting place of Paradise, where rivers flow and hurt does not exist “And the Hereafter is better for you than the first.” (93:4). You belong there.

And to the ones lost and wandering, thinking you’ve finally approached earthy heaven, it is not your fault that you sought religion and the devil came at you as a roaring lion. In the words of Iblis: “Then I will come to them from before them and from behind them and on their right and on their left…”

To the person formed in homes of prostitution and crack, this is not bound to be your lineage and you are not less than. Not one event as this taints your soul or makes you unworthy in the eyes of the Lord. A starving child knows plenty of an empty soul and not only of food.

To the pure and innocent souls, your heart is gentle because you understand the reality behind being used, being hurt, and betrayed. All of your life, you’ve had to fight for an ounce of gentleness and for a kind word.
"So by mercy from Allah, [O Muhammad], you were gentle with them. And if you had been rude and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you…” (3:159).

God is our solace and our defender. He is the keeper of our angels and the life-sustainer. By God, we shall rise by the pen against the darkness imposed upon us forever and He will be our guiding hand. It is by the free-will of the oppressor and not by God. For He hates all ugliness and treachery! “It is not Allah's Will to place you in difficulty, but to purify you and to perfect His favor upon you, that you may be grateful” (5:6).

As for the oppressor, they say the ego shall be suppressed until whimsy is annihilated. They are wrought with lying and darkness.
And boast themselves as Buddha reborn, carrying a heart of Jezebel.

“He (the devil) enjoineth upon you only the evil and the foul, and that ye should tell concerning Allah that which ye know not” (2:149).

Walk the streets in robes. Hide in the den of thieves. And distribute punishment for the honest speaker who challenges authority and questions.

They shake hands and make bets with the unjust, the liars, and the oppressors of orphans and women. Victimhood of concubinage and multiple liaisons lives, despite their cry for the victims to be silenced.
“And eat not of that whereon Allah’s name hath not been mentioned, for lo! it is abomination. Lo! the devils do inspire their minions to dispute with you. But if ye obey them, ye will be in truth idolaters” (6:121)

Each oppressor will demand they be the chosen children.
And it is the unjust from each land, who remain cursed.

Lost are the Pharisees who interpret ihsan as slay the inner child. Devekut as the mystical realm sought on the backs of oppression. And asceticism as a means of abrogating the law.

As for teachers with blind hearts full of grave injustice, their converts are made twice as much children of Hell as themselves.
And the parable stands:
Until you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Annihilate all whimsy and forever, you are destined for darkness.

And that they do.

They hurt children, they deceive, they steal livelihoods. They have touched the families of prophets, the innocents, and the disabled. They slay the poor who don’t fall in line. Robbed are they of justice and mercy.

These are not only of history’s past. These are living today. They are wolves in sheep’s clothing and treat God’s word as a passing by.

"And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror]” (14:42).

While I understand that institutions need money to function, there should be no cost in offering online options for free, as Google Classroom is free, and texts should not be sold for coin. At baseline, printed texts should be sold for what they cost to print. If you are getting rich off of Islam, you are a grifter. It is the Islamic equivalent to evangelism. Simple as.
