It's so often, I am so tired of this...

I wet the bed so often. I have had some leaks out the back lately, but really I'm just so exhausted from waking up wet. I have no warning or indication of when it will happen. I just wake up and my brief is sagging. It happens even when urine runs clear so it's not bladder irritation from dehydration. I just find it so embarrassing and stressful to go through. I don't find protection to be burdensome because it's paid for by disability, but even arranging that was so much humiliating. How am I supposed to avoid being single permanently? It's gross to deal with.

Do they really put dark blue dye in pools to detect urinary incontinence?

You've seen it in the movies and heard of it being done in public swim places. Do companies put reactive dyes in the pools so the chlorine turns a dark blue to represent urine? I predominately have urinary incontinence and worry about stress incontinence from the straining of swimming.

Been getting leaks out the back...

I don't know if it's because I grew and the fit is wrong or if I am going more than normal, but I have noticed an uptick in leaks out the back of my brief when laying on my back. Is there anything I can do? They are northshore and they don't feel like they are getting anywhere near maxed before they leak. This is entirely new to me, and the only thing I can attribute is that I gained weight but that doesn't feel like something that could cause this problem. I am used to having no leaks basically ever. Thoughts?

I got surgery that de-aged my voice by 15-20 years!

It will work on those assigned male at birth. So I went through Voice Feminization Surgery with something called a "Wendler Glottoplasty", and it was only prescribed to raise the pitch of my voice but not do any further feminization. I am nonbinary so naturally I wanted to at least achieve neutral vocals. Anyway, what I found without doing any voice training is that I was often perceived much younger than I am. I'm over 30 and was being read as a 14 year old boy in online games. Obviously I had wanted to achieve "girl sounding" or "neutral sounding" but the result was second best! I still prefer that I sound young over what I sounded like before. It's not a bad thing or a bad turnout because it still made me sound better than I did before. I can always do more vocal training when my mental health improves but for now I am settling for younger voice. I thought this would be cool to share as a possible improvement for those who are willing to fork over money to sound younger. I never heard of anyone doing that just to sound younger, but maybe there's someone here who feels bad about their voice and may want to pursue it. Any questions, ask away!

Why does stockfish think I will lose a rook? Why is this a mistake?

I moved Rf5 to threaten the capture of opponents rook on e5. My rook is protected by a pawn, but it says I will lose the rook outright.

How to defend against Knight forking on C2 or C7?

I just made up a game to show what I mean. I keep getting forked by knights where they win the exchange on a rook. I don't know how to keep them back. By the time they get to b4 it's already too late to put a pawn on A3. This can happen really early in the game and if the queen is off her home square there isn't much I can even do but retreat her to take the trade on the rook. I have so much trouble with knights but this is the most annoying thing they do. It only bothers me because I don't know how to keep them back without doing ridiculously preemptive moves like a3 before they even cross the board. Ideas? What is the right solution to prevent these forks early in the game where I can't rescue a piece?

How to get better at end games?

I always have 78-98% accuracy in my openings, but slowly go downhill midgame and crash in the endgames. I can be ahead and just lose in the endgame for nothing because they find annoying tactics every time. I know that sometimes I make mistakes and blunders mid game but that's just my brain not working, so I'm more interested in not losing winning games. I hate to be ahead 2 pieces and still lose thanks to my low accuracy endgames. What can I do? I can't afford expensive books and my library has jack shit for chess books.

My back hurts, but I'm too young to have my back hurting!

It's just another reminder I'm not bio-young anymore. I get back pain doing the lawn or washing the counter. Just from leaning over just a little bit. I never had this happen before. I feel so bad reminded that I'm not even young anymore. It hurts physically and mentally...

How do you stay cool withe protection on summer nights?

I have no air conditioning. My briefs just stick to me and it's awful. How do I stay cool when I'm wearing a heavy brief layer? I strategically placed fans directly at my body but I'm still suffering thanks to the heat dome.

Why is it best to take with a pawn here?

I won the game. I've played this opening a lot and stockfish always tells me exf3 is "best" but I want to know why. It blocks in the bishop. Why is it not best to take with the bishop? I have learned to always take with the pawn instead but it's been bugging me why I should do that.

  1. Nf3 d5 2. g3 Nf6 3. Bg2 Nc6 4. O-O (4. d4) 4... e5 5. d3 Bc5 6. c3 Bg4 7. d4 (7. Qc2) 7... exd4 8. cxd4 Bxf3 9. exf3 Bxd4

What jobs can you even work with OCD and no education?

Please don't say the word "any", because that's not reality. Living with persistent permanent OCD I know I can't do a lot of jobs - like anything food related or garbage truck personnel etc. I can't do many jobs because I can't interact with trash or raw foods basically. And most entry jobs have something to do with trash or mopping or other cleanup. I don't want to be "fixed" instead since I got fucked up majorly and was way worse after ERP. So I want ONLY to know of jobs that are clean that I can do without education.

I let my surgeon talk me out of depth and now I regret it...

I had a plan. The surgeon and I had agreed on supplemental belly grafts for more depth. But on the pre-op appointment he kept touting that he could do it with only scrotal skin but said I would still get 4 inches. This was already low by my standards, but I was so overwhelmed I went along with it thinking he knows best. Then post op I got so little that I can't even insert the dilator. It literally doesn't even have room to go in. It's like I got zero depth instead. Just the tip goes in basically at all. I wanted to be able to put vibrators in there one day or more than the head of a penis inside, but now I can't. Moral of the story, don't let a surgeon push you to a less depth than what you originally agreed. I feel taken advantage of and now all the suffering to get here and go through surgery feels for nothing... I am majorly depressed.

I'm going for (MTX) GRS soon and have mostly minor daytime fecal incontinence and bedwetting. I know for the first part that there's bowel prep and I will have a catheter in so I'm not really worried about accidents in hospital. But I was wondering how incontinence either plays a role or if it get's worse post-op? I know I can ask questions to the clinic but I want to get personal perspectives. Another question I have is does your type of protection have to change in any way? Should I expect possibly that my incontinence can worsen? Do I need to start using wipes? Anything else anyone can tell me?
