Morality of exploiting your cat as a source of green energy
Dan Harmon referencing his time as a guest grump in President Curtis
I was watching episode 1 of President Curtis and, once they reached the bathtub joke, I thought holy shit that sounds familiar.
And it WAS. Turns out Dan Harmon riffed it out during a Guest Grumps episode.
He was such a fun, eloquent guest, and GG's cat in the hat playthrough is one i've rewatched more than once. There's a certain je ne sais quoi about the jank gameplay and their comedically-dysfunctional commentary.
Morality of turning your cat into an agent of the surveillance state

[Rare Trope] Male sexual assault treated seriously rather than being played off as a joke
Rick and Morty - S01E05. Whilst he and Rick are on a whimsical adventure, Morty strikes up a conversation with a stranger that escalates into attempted rape. Despite Rick being an unapologetically-drunk asshole, he makes a concerted attempt to cheer up his grandson, and later kills the Jellybean creature that assaulted Morty in the first place.
The White Lotus - S03E06. With Saxon and Lochlan Ratliff under the influence of drugs, an M/F/M threesome escalates into sexual entanglement between the brothers. They spend the rest of the season alienated/disgusted with one another, and Lochlan eventually expresses remorse for his actions.
Unfortunately, I've yet to encounter media that treats female-on-male sexual assault with the nuance or gravity it deserves. I believe this trope is important because it sheds light upon how men experience sexual assault, i.e. the interplay between masculinity and men being "shamed" for admitting weakness, or being called a pussy for "complaining" about unwanted sex.
