Rolls-Royce Cullinan with a single-letter “M” plate spotted on the M1

Spotted this Rolls-Royce Cullinan on the M1 yesterday with what looks like a single-letter “M” registration plate. Pretty cool spot — definitely not something you see every day!

I tried putting the plate through a UK vehicle check but nothing comes up, so I’m thinking it could possibly be a foreign number plate.

Anyone know where this plate might be from or anything about it? Would be interesting to know the story behind it.

EDIT: Mystery solved!
Turns out it’s a Gibraltar “G-less” personalised registration. Gibraltar recently introduced plates without the usual “G” prefix, with single-letter registrations priced at £50,000. (Government of Gibraltar)

Earlier this year Yianny posted a video about these Gibraltar plates and M was actually one of the £50k plates shown.

Even better, someone in the comments found an Instagram post from Gibraltar Plates showing the exact same black Rolls-Royce Cullinan with the newly purchased “M” registration in Gibraltar. So it looks like I’ve now randomly spotted the same car over here on the M1

Pretty cool seeing a plate like that out in the wild.

Private parking company has given me a PCN for parking in my own car park despite having a contract for parking rights with my landlord simply because their permit (which I displayed) curled up in the heat. what do they want me to do, babysit the permit? they denied my appeal.

also landlord is refusing to help (multinational company), the parking company literally have my registration in their database as an approved permit holder, I proved this with a subject access request. I genuinely do not know what they want me to do differently. I am a wheelchair user I can't really come home from work to check the permit is still not curled up. it's one thing giving me the PCN but both parties admitting that I do have a valid permit but both are refusing to cancel the PCN is insane to me

what mileage are you guys at, and how reliable have your cars been/what kind of work has been involved?

I'm just over 148,000 miles now with my CREC

prior to my ownership my car has full Audi history, and 3x DSG services one every 40k.

I've been doing an oil change every 6,000 with Shell Helix Ultra 0W40

I've done 21,000 in 2 years, done the PCV at 132,000, new discs and pads shortly after, a wheel bearing, level sensor, parking sensor and a new rear wiper motor.

next month I'm replacing the thermostat with a billet aluminium unit, a new waterpump all front plastic coolant pipes, new belts/tensioners/idler pulleys and a supercharger oil change.
