I tested all three microphones on my iPhone 12. In Instagram voice messages, the bottom microphone works perfectly and records my voice loud and clear, while the top and rear microphones don’t seem to be used.
However, in Voice Memos and some other apps, the bottom microphone doesn’t seem to be used. The top and rear microphones work, but speaking directly into the bottom microphone doesn’t noticeably affect the recording.
I compared it to an iPhone 11, where the microphones seem to behave differently in Voice Memos.
Has anyone seen this before? Is this normal microphone routing behavior on the iPhone 12, a software issue, or could it indicate a problem with the Lightning port/microphone assembly even though the bottom microphone clearly works in Instagram?

I’m thinking about getting an Android phone and keeping it for at least 5 years before upgrading.
Do you think the S23 Ultra will still hold up well for another 5 years in terms of performance, and software support?
I’m also a bit concerned about the green line issue I’ve heard about on some Samsung phones. Is that something I should realistically worry about in the future, or is it relatively uncommon?
For context, I’m currently using an iPhone 12 and I’m looking for a long-term Android phone that I can keep for several years.

i also heard about the green line issue is it going to be a problem in the future?
4 and a half months ago, my avoidant ex discarded me. It was a long-distance relationship, and the first two months after the breakup felt unbearable. I genuinely felt like I was falling apart.
By the third month, things started getting a little better because life pulled my attention elsewhere — exams, my sister getting married, and a lot of other things happening around me.
Now, in the fourth month, I’ve been feeling calmer and more stable. Sometimes I wonder if something is wrong with me for not hurting as intensely anymore, especially after loving her so deeply.
i haven’t checked her profile for a long time
and there was so many days where i couldn’t sleep through out the relationship
this is my iphone 12 battery i use it while charging using a wireless charger i have a shortcut automation that reminds me to stop charging and start charging between 79% to 81% just keeping tinny bit of stress on the battery and also keeps cycles low
