Air Con Condenser location

Air Con Condenser location

Hope some can advise especially if your home is the same, I'm just trying to work out the best place for the condenser on my end of terraced house for a air to air Aircon system to install in my front bedroom, but without annoying my neighbours especially as they have a small landing window in the alleyway with any noise or humming for The condenser. In the photo would the rough position in blue be ok (or a bit lower by the electric box on the wall) or would the alleyway amplify any noise & penetrate through their solid wall house to the bedroom or through the alleyway landing window? Or with new permitted rules that get rid of the 1m rule could it be placed under the front room window? Would I hear any vibration through the wall? Thanks. Where have you installed your or advice where to install, Thanks.

Axle Grid Event Home assistant

I have the Fox system & Use Capture Energy to use it's Ai to look after the charging over night & joined Axle energy but I have to disable Capture before the Grid Event to stop them clashing, so I've managed to setup a notification via home assistant on to my nest displays just incase I miss the Grid Event email.

Air Con bedroom location, Draft

I live in a mid terrest house attached pictures of bedroom ignore dimensions ai generated image, the only place I can see to install air con is between the 2 windows on external wall, don't think on internal ajoinung neighbours walls due to any vibration or noise especially when on full blast in the day? If the Air con unit is on the outside wall between the 2 windows would a get a draft from the air con if it's on at night mode or some other mode or manual settings not sleep mode as would not wat the unit to raise the temp as I have a solid wall house that warms up to quickly in the summer, would it stop the draft but still keep the room cool or at least topt the temp rising too quickly. Thanks

Midea Breezeless vs samsung windless

Hi I'm looking for an air conditioner for my UK solid wall home located in the bedroom as current portable air con just can't cope with solid walls over 24°c, that has a draft free mode so I can run while asleep, it looks like only Samsung & Midea sell them? Does anyone have either & how they perform, when in draft free mode how far from the unit I till you no longer feel the draft & how well does it keep the room at a cool temperature In draft free mode. Only location is the outside wall opposite the bed so at night I don't want to feel any breeze on my skin.

If no draft free mode, any recommendations of a make & model have that has a mode that virtually reduces the draft? Thanks

Mokka infotainment screen wasted space

The mid refresh Mokka 2025 up now let's you display radio, maps & other FULL SCREEN on the 10" screen do you think that will ever come to the 2021-2024 version Mokka with the same 10" screen, having the temperature on the left & right side of the screen is a complete waste of screen space.

Battery SOC into home assistant

Hope someone can help, I'm subscribed to Nabu casa so some Fox entities are showing in Google Home but then Battery soc is not? I want to ask Google home that the better level is. Is there a way to do this? In the meantime time I've set up an automation within Home assistant so that when the battery is at 50 or 90% it broadcasts to speaker, but would be nice to manually ask speakers . Thank

Kia ceed road noise terrible

Kia ceed 2024 G line petrol automatic uk wow, why do no YouTube reviews or others reviews warn you how bad the road noise is while in the cabin, is there any insulation in the car? Only had the car a few days but it's already affecting my tinnitus., didn't even think replacing the car with quieter tyres would reduce the noise that much or would it?

If you choose the Axle full control on a Fox ESS system so it will check weather to know if to charge the battery on the cheap night tariff or not, but are not on octopus with an export tariff but are on EDF or Eon without an export rate, will Axle NOT force discharge daily, but only on Grid Events? Axle looks great but severely lacks any controls or settings, Thanks.

Been using what's the traffic like to work for well over 5 years, but now on Gemini all that's tells me is no traffic in your area. I NOW have to pretend to be AMERICAN & say " What's the commute to work?" To actually get the map & traffic information to display on my nest hub.. so much for improvement, understand British English PLEASE Americans.

Solar & battery soon so looking for time of use tariff, problem I've found, yes you can get cheaper electricity prices but gas prices are higher, reducing the rate of return. Gas prices are around £120 higher per year on a time of use tariff compared to just a standard fixer rate tariff for gas & electric. What tariffs are you all using for electric & gas?

Is anyone here on the EDF FreePhase tariff, think it's still in beta though? It has 3 bands, wondering what prices your getting & if you can use solar & battery on the Fixed as well as the dynamic version?

I think the answer is no, but just wanted to check, is Axle Energy currently available on the Alpha Inverter/Battery or coming soon? Thanks.
