What are you building today?

I am currently working on NextIsOnMe a social app that turns generosity into real connections (the Host treats for the meet)

Happy to see the app going up to 30%+ of all the features that I expect it will have when it's fully completed

I am dev myself, but thanks to AI the development of this project goes pretty smoothly, it would takes ages without AI.

Promotion and growth remain the biggest challenges. We recently launched on couple of big cities, lets see how it goes

Keep the heads down buddies! Lot of work, lot of challenges and lot of action in next few months! I hope you enjoy your projects, no matter the outcome

Sick of endless texting on apps? We launched a web-app in Mumbai to get you straight to real-world cafe tables (And the Host treats the first round).

Hey everyone,

If you are in your 30s living in Mumbai, you probably know how exhausting it is to make new, genuine connections. Dating apps feel like a full-time job of dry small talk, and standard meetup groups can feel incredibly awkward or disorganized.

As a developer, I wanted to build something that completely removes the digital friction and gets people back to the basics: sitting around a physical table, having a coffee or a drink, and talking like normal human beings.

We just launched NextIsOnMe, and we are currently live with our first partner venues across Mumbai!

How it works (No apps to download, it's just a web page):

  1. The Live Map: You open the site and see real-world tables hosted by premium local cafes or curated individuals in Mumbai.
  2. The "Treat": The Host (whether it’s the venue or a person) covers the first round of coffees, drinks, or appetizers to break the ice.
  3. The Curation: You apply to a table that matches your vibe. The Host manually selects the guests (or they are selected randomly by the algorithm if the Host is a Venue) so the group dynamic stays safe, balanced, and high-vibe (no overwhelming crowds).

Our first official tables are live right now for next few weeks, and venues are looking for the first batches of guests to fill them. If you want to grab a premium cold brew or a snack on the house and meet a few interesting people in their 30s near your neighborhood, you just have to show up.

Check out the live Mumbai tables here: https://www.nextisonme.com/events

Would love to hear your thoughts on the concept, or any feedback on the interface if you try to apply for a table!

Free meals, coffee, and drinks at local venues via community table-hosting (No catch/No hidden fees)

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a platform I've been working on called NextIsOnMe. It’s built entirely around old-school hospitality and generosity, and it’s completely free to use.

How it works: Local venues or individual "Hosts" list a table at a cafe or restaurant and commit to "treating" the table (meaning they cover the first round of drinks, coffees, or the meal). You look at the open events, apply to join a table in your city, and if selected, you show up and get treated.

We are currently rolling this out heavily in some major cities including Mumbai and looking to expand to more cities as more venues sign up.

  • For Individuals: If you're looking to grab a free coffee/meal and meet some new people IRL, you can check the live map to see if a table is open near you.
  • For Small Business/Venue Owners: If you own a cafe or bar and want to host a free round to bring people through your doors during slow hours, you can list your venue for free.

I’m really looking for honest feedback on the concept. Does a platform built on hospitality make sense to you guys, or are we too used to standard coupons?

Hiring: Looking for a Mumbai-based sales representantive, BDM

If you have worked in the past with Zomato, Petpooja or Swiggy that would be a plus but not mandatory

Send me a DM if you are interested

I’ve spent the last year looking at why dating apps feel so exhausting in 2026, and it usually comes down to one thing: The endless, forced small talk that leads nowhere.

We match, we say "hey," we chat for two weeks, and then... nothing. Or worse, you finally meet and realize within 5 seconds there’s no vibe.

I decided to build a side project called NextIsOnMe to see if we could flip the script. Instead of "matching" and "chatting," it’s built around Table Hosting.

How it works:

  • The Host: Picks a local cafe, bar or reasturant and sets a time. They commit to "treating" the table (paying for the first round).
  • The Selection: Other users apply to join. The Host reviews profiles and selects their Guest(s) to ensure a good mix.
  • The Meet: You meet IRL immediately. No weeks of texting, no "digital pen pals," just coffee and conversation.

The idea is to bring back old-school hospitality. By having a Host who "treats," it removes the "Who pays?" awkwardness and the "Is this a high-stakes date?" pressure. It’s just a group of people sharing a table.

I’m currently rolling this out in Athens and Mumbai (and expanding) because I want to see if we can actually solve the loneliness epidemic by moving the "interaction" back to the physical world.

I’d love to hear from this sub: Do you think the "Treating" model helps break the ice, or are we all too cynical for that now? If a stranger offered to host a table at your favorite cafe, would you actually show up?

Check it out: https://www.nextisonme.com/

I’ve been experimenting with various promotion methods (viral attempts, active Reddit engagement, UGC, influencers, etc.), and while they work, they are incredibly time-consuming.

Lately, I’ve found that permanent ad banners on niche blogs or directories are the most convenient in terms of "time invested vs. output." It’s basically set-and-forget; you negotiate the placement once, and the site owner handles the traffic flow for months.

I’m looking for other "slow-burn" methods that provide steady, long-term visibility without requiring a daily content treadmill.

A few things I’m considering:

  • Programmatic SEO: Building pages once that rank for long-tail keywords.
  • Newsletter Sponsorships: (The "permanent" kind in evergreen archives).
  • Resource/Tool Directories: Listing a product where people actively look for solutions.

What are some other "lazy" (but effective) marketing flywheels that keep the brand in front of people while I focus on building the product?

Hello, I am building NextIsOnMe an app that turns generosity into real connections

I am looking for a micro-influencer, UGC, etc for a (paid) shoutout video about our product. I cannot believe that this would be so challenging.

Is there any effective way to do it?
