I recently turned 30 and have been noticing light brown patches on my cheek bones forming this year and last. I have lots of light freckles, I am VERY pale, and I wear SPF 50 year round at least since my mid 20s and have always worn SPF in the summer from the age of 16 and up. I cannot remember the last time I had a visible sunburn on my face to be honest!

Everything online seems to suggest these are uncommon for people of my age and lifestyle. Is it maybe just large freckles?! I can’t understand what I’m doing wrong to get such premature age spots.

I DID get severe sunburn as a child but that was predominantly on my forehead/shoulders whereas these spots are on my cheekbones and one has developed on the back of my hand.

What am I doing wrong?!?! Help!!

I had planned to have my hair done professionally but I had a trial and I HATED it and don’t feel it’s worth the money trying again, as I’ve been quoted up to 10% of my total budget and the thought of spending another £70+ just on a trial isn’t for me. I just want my hair down with a wave.

I would like to do curls then brush them out for my wedding. I never curl my hair but I have 6 weeks to get good at it! My hair is straight but in the trial it held the curl she did well with lots of hairspray so I feel confident if I get the curls done well it will hold ‘enough’ for my purposes.

I am thinking about splurging on a £150 ghd soft curl but is it worth the money? I have not used a curler since I was a teenager but I remember the tongs used to leave creases in my hair. Is this user error? Does a higher cost tool really make a difference?

Any other tips or advice on where to invest if you did your own hair for your wedding are very welcome.

Hey everyone, my partner and I are in the final crunch time for the wedding and we’ve hit the end of our budget to get our dream wedding rings.

We are looking at silver rings for a budget option with the goal to upgrade them in the future. However I’m struggling to find anywhere that does upscale silver rings. It’s making me feel kind of guilty that we can only afford silver right now (and what’s worse is that I’ve lost my engagement ring 😭) we aren’t super traditional so I was thinking of maybe getting something quite fun and ‘out there’s or eccentric since why do rings have to be boring but then also struggling with the anxiety of ‘not conforming’ to the standards that feel so rigid as a bride.

I wondered if anyone could share their experience with getting a silver ring? Any recs for ones that look nice? Maybe just some words of comfort?!

hey everyone, I am doing my own wedding makeup and I hate full coverage foundation but I would like one for my wedding day. Everything I try seems to emphasise my pores, pulls orange, cling to my dry patches, or leave me looking like a grease ball.

My usual go to is Kylie skin tint in 1N. I use merit ceramic as my under eye concealer because it pulls orange on me but that works for under my eyes where I have purplish hues.

Is the audio on today’s episode weird for anyone else or just me? It’s like their voices are laid over the audio twice. It started happening around 10/11 minutes in.

I’m in the UK so it’s later here so might be too early for any murderinos to have clocked on but can’t tell if it’s my phone or the audio!

I have a white shower curtain that goes yellow at the bottom, I guess either from build up or mould? I have popped it in the washer (it says it can be washed up to 40 degrees) but the discolouration still was there after.

Any other creative ideas? Can I put some white vinegar in the wash next time? I’ve only had it a couple months and it seems like a waste to replace but the discolouration is unsightly!

I appreciate this has very little to do with MFM but is anyone else always getting the Chelsea Handler adverts in the episodes? It’s the first ad that makes me so irrationally angry I will literally just turn off the podcast because it makes me so IRATE 😂

I know they’re skippable, and I’m not complaining about ads generally. Just this specific one and need to know if it’s driving anyone else mad too!! 😫

I’ve been pretty constipated for several days now, however I have passed very small and hard bowel movements. I also take fybogel 1-2x a day under the guidance of my dr, and I drink a ton of liquids (2 litres of water, coffee, Diet Coke) and my diet is naturally quite high in fibre anyway (vegetarian so I eat a lot of lentils/beans and veg)

However yesterday I stated to notice I LOOKED visibly constipated, my stomach is just round and bloated and so sore. I usually have swings and roundabouts switching between diarrhoea and constipation (usually diarrhoea) but I am concerned about the fact I’ve been taking fybogel as well an still cannot go.

Sort of at a loss as what to do… it is very difficult for me to get out of work for GP appts and it does create a financial burden when I do so I would rather not if it’s likely to pass

I’m just in a lot of bloated discomfort, I feel I haven’t even been eating very much but just so SO bloated I’m not sure I could even wear my jeans right now!

Any tips 😭 sincerely, a gal in pain
