Dye to cover up detergent "burns"

I have a handful of cotton or cotton/poly t-shirts that have discolored spots that I guess are from the detergent sitting in that spot too long.

I would like to dye them a solid color (most likely black), but the last time I had anything to do with fabric dye was maybe 35 years ago and I would like to not screw it up, or dye myself more than the clothes.

I have a clean 5-gallon bucket I'm willing to sacrifice for this. Is there more to it than put the dye in the bucket, add water, add shirts, and let it sit? I can't help feeling like that's too simple.

Lock cylinder doesn't want to let key come out

I'm having a hard time taking the key out of the cylinder of my front door knob. I'm not sure how to describe the issue. The key slides in, I can lock and unlock, but removing the key requires a lot more wiggle jiggle than it should.

I've watched a couple videos on YouTube just to see how the guts of a lock work, and my "don't know shit" thought is that the knob being kind of floppy is making it difficult to get the cylinder into the exact top dead center position for the pins to be able to move and let the key out.

Is there anything I can do to make this better? Or do I just replace the lock set?

Fwiw I am fairly mechanically inclined, I've done factory maintenance for decades, I just haven't messed with locks before and and I don't want to create a situation where I can't secure my house.

Part of my job involves cleaning plastic parts that have a layer of greasy shop grime. This is usually done with dish soap, Scotch-Brite, and my aching shoulder. While doing this task this morning I had a thought of something like an electric toothbrush but bigger, which led me to the oscillating tool. A hand sander might also be appropriate.

My concern is that the force applied to the tool head would be from the face and not the edge of the tool and I don't want to screw up the motor or something

Trying for a fun one here.

Everyone knows about playing fetch and stuff like that. I'm curious about what kind of games you have just made up with your dog.

I only have one dog, so "bitey face" was a non-starter. It took some time, but we have managed to turn it into playing chicken with her tongue. I try and touch noses with her without getting licked. She wins most of the time.
