And now my 3rd round of Interview is scheduled for tomorrow 10th August, for ablut half an hour. My 2nd round was like avarrage, and 1st round went well, i could answer almost all questions. What it could be? Any suggestions.

Also, I asked for 6.5 LPA for a relocation from Hyderabad to Bangalore, and now I wanted around 8 5 LPA ? How can I negotiate, please help. My total years of experience 3 yrs in non tech role and 1 yr in HR domain, with B.tech and MBA as my educational background.

Interview salary Negotiation

I asked for 6 to 6.5 LAP initially in the call with the HR Recuiter, which is already 100% hike on my current salary and am I down selling myself. Got to know I cleared the technical interview for the role of HR Analytics, currently I am a HRBP (need to join as a freshser), passed out last year after MBA and with prior experience into non IT role after B.Tech.

Help me negotiate with tips, and I also need to relocate to Banglore from Hyderabad

2nd round of intervew Managerial + Technical us scheduled day after tomorrow. Please help.

Earlier, I faced rejections, no interview calls and there's some hope from this role and the company for learning, (Role: I&F data science Practitioner in HR Analytics).

Please help me with job switch to land a decent pay job. Any suggestions.

I've done MBA and completed just last year in 2025, from a Central University...got a placement with a package around 15LPA but into banking (customer acquisition role), rejected the offer (as I didn't want to enter banking, the role I didn't like and due to my father's health condition didnt wanted to relocate) and really struggled for jobs...after 2-3 months, I got a temporary (fixed time) role as a HRBP (as I had Business Analytics and HR specialiazations in MBA) with bare minimum income. I'm 28 now, my parent(the only breadwinnner-sole primary earner) who is earning will retire next year, exactly by end of June 2027 .

I'm worried, trying hard to switch to Data Analytics roles, building projects, even looking for HR Analytics, HRBP roles. I suddenly wake up at night with the thoughts about my career....not sure about my future.

Working really hard building data analyst projects (learning and building from youtube and other sources), prepared github portfolio, learning and upskilling, prepared resume, and just getting naukri profile views but no interview calls.

Currently I'm doing better at work as a HRBP, but due to the budget constraints and other reasons I have no hope on my current company that I would get a huge hike even If I get converted to full time.

I did B.Tech and have earlier experience in some (non technical role), with almost 3 years of experience, before doing MBA and have some savings.

Anyone can please help me out of this.🙏🏼

Interview feedback

I had an interview yesterday...where I feel like I have not given satisfactory answers to a few questions, also I did answer a few questions well.

It was for the role of a HRBP. With whatever I know about the role, I spoke in the interview, ofcourse I don't really have a practice exposure to HRBP role in my current company, where I am working for past 8 months after my MBA last year. They have approached me through LinkedIn as I have mentioned projects om HR, data analytics and I mentioned my current role as a HRBP, which I would eventually be soon working as, at my current company.

The interviewer said, she would take another round of interview, as she needs more clarity.

She also asked me about my notice period, the location I stay and the mode of transport I travel to the office.

Then she also asked about my current compensation I said it's very low as 3LPA, and I'm looking for a better pay roles. They were surprised to know, I was working for such low pay, I said I rejected an on campus job offer which was into banking and was looking for internship opportunities to gain exposure on HR and HR Analytics and I have applied through LinkedIn and that's how I landed up at my current company as a ManagementTrainee, and package didn't bother me initially....and so I am looking for a switch now, as my current role is a contract role for a period of 1 year and only 4 months more are left.

Then she asked, If I'm okay for other roles like MIS Executive, I said I'm okay for other roles also, as long as I get a decent pay that should be fine. She also asked, may be if you get converted to a full time role, you might get more pay....and I said like, I don't expect getting more pay, even though if I get converted to full time, as my current company is doing cost cutting and cost savings...this was my answer.

During the interview I spoke about data, Analytics, HRBP role, my current non HRBP work that I am doing now at my current company in the HR domain, few answers I gave like if's and and but's, and she asked like 'I did it', or 'I can do'?

Although I spoke about the terms HRBP's use day to day.

she asked about how employees see me as their HR, how my typical day at work is like, how do I plan and prioritize the things....and I feel like I answered them satisfactorily.

Can I expect a call for the second round? I really like the role, and the company. We didn't discuss about the compensation that I was expecting.

She even asked me to share my resume..I shared it and hopefully I am expecting a call for 2nd round and to do much more better with more clarity.

Did I really do better or what are my possibilities....plz pet me know if I had to work on improving and giving proper interviews with a strategy.
