This is the review disc I received from Konami when SH2 got an Xbox release. No ‘promo’ disc or anything, just a playable Xbox disc with some handwriting on it.
This just arrived: my new Gorillaz shirt from Bershka, ordered for a mere €10. Seeing as this was quite cheap I expected this to be some flimsy, low quality shirt. But I’m very happy this a rather heavy shirt, good quality thick cotton. If you can find one of these: get ‘em!

But it does scratch that Massive Attack itch.
Three of the six tracks on this release are produced by M.A, so I was glad to pick this one up.
I’m still not sure where I should hang these four skateboard decks I purchased a few years ago. Didn’s bother with the second series, since I didn’t really like the artwork on ‘em. Nevertheless, I just LOVE these four decks.
The announcement that Sony is going all digital really saddens me. They’re basically taking away a huge part of what makes gaming fun for me: collecting games.
I’ve just received this batch of second hand CD’s I ordered from an online seller. These are all albums that I really like or ones that I’m rather interested in. I didn’t pay a lot for the lot of ‘em, but I can’t help but feeling a slight disappointment when discovering that one or two of these discs are so scratched up that they’re unplayable, even on a standalone player from the nineties. Some of these albums came from a (heavy) smoker’s home, which means that I’ll have to replace the plastic cases to get rid of the worst smell. Apart from that, I am actually quite excites about these albums.
Just bought this dvd for ‘An Eye For An Eye’ (mainly for the interviews on it) and I’m really impressed by the elaborate packaging it came in. The cardboard box itself is a very sturdy box, it comes with a black removable cardboard band and inside the box is a booklet containing storyboards and art that neatly fits inside an indentation, revealing the disc underneath.
Don’t have a VHS player anymore, but this is still nice to have.
I’ve just noticed that one of these two CD singles I bought in 1999 is a misprint. The contents of both discs are idental, so that’s the album version of the track including two remixes by Black Dog. The release (with red lettering) that mentions the two other remixes and a supposed screen saver contains the exact same audio files as the one with the black lettering. So it’s actually not a misprint on the packaging; it’s basically the wrong disc contents. Can’t find anything about this misprint on Discogs, so I added the info myself.
This booklet was given to retailers, informing them about the coming release of Manhunt. It features some cool info about the coming PR campaign. Most interesting (to me at least) is the card showing the different POS items. Just look at that standee…
Purchased the discs pictured here. Also nabbed ‘Nature’ by Sylvia Juncosa and ‘In Times New Roman’ by QOTSA, both on vinyl.
I feel kinda dumb for only discovering this today, but “Edit Music For A Film - The Director’s Cut” by UNKLE is nothing short of mindblowing. And it features no less than two Massive Attack songs in the mix. (No exclusives, but still pretty nifty)

I don’t think this’ll ever be available on any streaming service due to rights issues, but physical copies aren’t all that expensive.
In een grijs verleden heb ik gesolliciteerd als hoofdredacteur voor een techblog. Mijn sollicitatie was interessant genoeg voor de werkgever om te antwoorden met een uitnodiging om langs te komen. Tot zover niets aan de hand. De avond dat ik de uitnodiging kreeg werd ik gebeld: de potentiële werkgever wilde graag even telefonisch contact met me om e.e.a. door te nemen. Dat kwam me op dat moment niet goed uit, want ik had op dat moment iets te doen wat niet kon wachten. Daar werd erg raar op gereageerd, want ‘er was toch wel even tijd?’
De dame aan de lijn eiste zowat dat er op dat moment tijd werd gemaakt om haar prangende vragen te beantwoorden. Ik zei dat dat écht niet kon en dat ik morgenochtend alle tijd voor haar had. Vervolgens hing ze op en kreeg ik binnen een kwartier een appje met: “we gaan door met een andere kandidaat”
Die andere kandidaat was heel toevallig een kennis van me zijn die ik al vrij lang ken en die ik het op zich prima gunde dat hij die baan kreeg.
Tijdje later sprak ik hem weer en vroeg hoe zijn nieuwe baan beviel. Hij was er na een paar maanden met heftige ruzie vertrokken, want de functie van ‘hoofdredacteur’ bleek weinig meer te zijn dan een belabberd betaald kutbaantje waarbij de eigenaars van het bedrijf alle beslissingen bij zichzelf wilden houden en alle medewerkers (dus ook de hoofdrecteur) werden beschouwd als uitvoerende sloofjes.
Hebben jullie vergelijkbare ervaringen waar je ternauwernood aan een kutsituatie bent ontsnapt bij een werkgever?

Xbox and Ps2 are fun and all, but these babies are sooooo beautiful.
My girlfriend surprised me last week with this nifty grill. Now, I’m by no means knowledgeable on grills, but this thing looks really interesting, especially compared to the cheap thing we used up to now. Everything was pretty self explanatory, but what is that little black plastic bowl meant for? (Pictured here all the way on the bottom)
After not having any device to play PC games for quite some time I finally am able to play the PC version of my all time favorite game again. As much as I like the option to play this game on PS4 (yay, trophies!), this packaging still reigns supreme.
