Hey, so a colleague told me about the series and it sounds really interesting. He also told me the TV show was never finished and since I hate to read books after consuming the relevant movie/show I have a habit of reading them first and am planning to do it for the expanse too. Now I dont wanna read the first six unnecessarily as my colleague said they are really close to the show.

So I started with book 7 and its great but I feel like I am missing a bit of exposition. Might it be worth watching the series first?
