human monocytes from whole blood look weird in singlets and not sure how to gate

I am analyzing my human whole blood monocytes on flowjo (originally from attune flow) and was told by a tech at Flowjo that my singlets look like they are reversed (usually seen with other flow companies but not attune). I am wondering if anyone knows if these singlets look normal with FSC-H vs FSC-A gates vs FSC-W and FSC-A? did attune reverse the two? Not sure how to set my gate around these cells....

Gaining weight like crazy after switching to GF diet??

Hi all! I’m a 27-year-old woman who had lost her periods for four years until finding out that I was coeliac. As of January this year I switched to a gluten-free diet and got my period back in April! Since I switched to this new diet, I’ve been gaining weight like crazy, maybe 20 pounds since January? I’m still eating relatively healthy. I’m still working out pretty much daily, so I’m not sure why this is happening. I did read that because I’m absorbing nutrients now a little weight gain is normal, but this is getting insane. I’m constantly hungry can’t stop eating and have binging. Because my hunger cues are all over the place. I just feel like I’m holding a lot of fat on my body now I’m not sure if it’s more keto processed gluten-free snacks that I’m eating or just an overall change in diet but has anyone ever experienced this and has it ever stopped or does it just keep going? Is there a way to work around this to stop weight gain? Thank you so much.

[product request] hyper pigmentation on forehead advice on products

I’m recently having really bad hyper pigmentation dark spots on my forehead. I’m not sure if it’s from acne (I’m bad at picking) or sunspots or a mixture of both.. I got pico laser, and it didn’t really help, I was going to go for more treatments, but the technician said since I’m pretty tanned and go in the sun often (even tho I always wear SPF), we should wait until the fall. She recommended using vitamin C medical grade in the meantime. This made me look into products to see what could help me in the meantime, and this is what I ended up ordering. Retinol 0.5, lightning lotion with hydroquinone, a 20% vitamin C, and also a niacinamide serum, do we think this will help? Any other recommendation? I’m desperate and willing to do anything to get rid of the spots.

Is anyone’s train/bus pass not working?? Do you have to opt in? I tried using it today and it keeps getting denied. I thought it renewed automatically for the spring
