It seems like they do not have HR at all
and it's their director of HR that's doing all the initial screening even for the most entry level jobs
what happened to their HR department
but after checking the available jobs for this company.
i realized there are another job that i'm more interested in, but i did not apply.
so i just applied now, but i have the HR interview coming up soon.
should i tell the HR that there's another position that i'm also very interested in, but just applied?
will it translates to cybersecurity career in the future?
for a colo.
I was caught off guard as by my search, colo usually asks for people with mechanical and electrical experiences.
but during the interview the HM specifically said they are looking for some one who can use computers, and did not ask a lot of infrastructure questions, but instead he asked about IT and linux commands, which i literally did not prepare for, because i spent all my time learning about DC infrastructure..
I do have IT knowledge and i was able to answer most questions, but some was not answered properly as i was caught off guard, i answered with a personal homelab project, but i did not review so I could not recall the details during the interview due to nervousness and the answer was very vague and unprofessional.
and at the end, the manager said they will give me an update after 2-3 weeks.
i wonder how positive or negative is the 2-3 weeks wait time.
were you ever able to plan for a 1 month trip of personal travel outside of your country
What are the salary range for entry level data center job, how much are the premium for night shift and OT?

thank you.
What does your career path look like
For how long you stayed in each position before going into the next opportunity
how much did the salary change for each position
And what region you are in
Would much appreciate the insights
So I've been applying for Entry level DCT jobs, which only demands high school diploma.
I match most of the requirements, such as computer, server, network knowledge.
but I saw multiple of them demanding:
I'm wondering what kind of electrical and mechanical knowledge they are referring to.
I figured It can't be too deep for an entry level job that only demands high school diploma.
So I have no real IT work experience, but I've always wanted to work in IT.
My 2 interests are DC and IT security, of course i basically gave up on security for how saturated when i saw a almost 60 YO grandma who just got security+ and is looking for entry IT security job on Linkedin.
So i feel like DC technician jobs are my best bet right now and i just got into the second round of DCT interview.
can i ask for some tips, what kind of technical questions will they ask for basic DCT jobs that don't require IT background. ( i do have personal IT experience with building personal gaming PC and networking basics etc)
I did some research but only for advanced level technicians, i fail to find any interview advice for entry level DCT.
I've also applied for AWS DCT, but i have yet to get a response, if anyone can share a referral would be much help.
thanks
so i was doing some research as i want to replace my gas car.
i saw model 3, one of the top ev cars being 40k, i thought other lower end cars might be cheaper.
but no, nissan leaf is 47k, toyota prius is 42k, kia ev4 is 41k, chevy bolt is also like 43k
like what?...all of these cars look cheap compared to model 3 too, also the fact that tesla has the best EV software with the best self drive tech..
..what are these company thinking, anyone enlighten me on this one..
So i've sent a connection request with a message about being interested in a job to a manager who is hiring and made a post about hiring.
He accepted the connection request, but never responded to my message.
I'm not sure if he saw my message.
I'm wondering what i can do in this situation
thanks

So my friend already got a CAQ for the duration of 2025-11 > 2027
but she didnt have study permit, and it was a micro program so she did not attend the class
so she applied for a new graduate program and got accepted and now she apply for CAQ again
but this time CAQ demands her bank statement for the past 6 months, but she did a lot of cash job during the period.
will it be bad?
since she already applied CAQ with her own financial capability, can she send addition documents for parent financial support instead?
thank you so much
