I feel so messy

I used to be fashionable, always dressed well and had my hair and make up on point. Sometime in the last few years I have let everything go. My work posted a media interview I did last week and when I saw it I almost cried. I looked sweaty, jowly, my teeth are crooked (they have weirdly been getting crooked the last few years) and my skin was all shiny and sallow like I had liver problems.

I dress in black pants and long sleeve shirts at work and even that looks messy. I'm 5"2 and weigh 55kg which is 5 more than I used to be. Healthy weight but it makes me look like a teapot.

All pants give me a huge belly as they are all high rise and on my petite body that just enhances the bulge. I can't find low rise or med pants anywhere and all petite pants are just shorter inseam which I can get done at the tailor so it's useless.

I think I know what to do make-up wise now and I need to get a new topper so I'm saving for that (alopecia started a few years ago too) but they are so expensive. But clothes I just feel everything I wear turns messy on me.

Any advice appreciated

Brand new 2as, overnight charge at 74%

As title. Had these for a week and the case loses charge in like one day. Last night charged it overnight and this morning it's still only at 74% and the buds themselves are at 54%.

Has anyone had this happen?

Are Pixel 2a buds meant to just sit in your ear and not into the ear canal?

No matter what eartip size I use, they aren't long enough to push into the canal and just kind of sit in the conch of my ear and fall out if I move too much. I have small ears but for example my soundcore 4 ones are fine and don't fall out, but their tips are 'longer'.

Wondering if this is a "feature" of the earbuds or they just don't fit me. Can't return so it's a non issue really but I really need something for my commute.

Advice welcome!

Anyone tried Tailor Skin melatonin cream?

Been reading into topical melatonin for texture and sun damage improvement and came across Tailor. Prices are fairly reasonable but I don't want to be swindled.

Anyone tried it?

TIA!

App to create music video with filmed clips

So I don't want it to fully generate video, I have filmed video, I just need something to do a better job than me to edit it together, and will use one guide track for audio. Any suggestions?

Manifested new title but not the promotion

Ha. Kinda funny really. My vision board has a bank balance, a letter saying my remuneration is increased to $12k per month and my title is now senior.

Well my remuneration is at $10k and I got the senior in front of my role but it's because of a merger and it's not actually a promotion just a mapping change.

Universe, you sure deliver but with a side of humour.

Wollemi pine advice wanted

Hey all, I have a young Wollemi, it's about 120cm tall in a 50cm pot (recently repotted) and it's doing great. It was previously undercover with morning light and dappled in the afternoon. Obviously it's winter so in summer that dappled light will become west facing heat horror. The pics above show, one with the pine north of the house, at 12.20pm today. The second pic is west and undercover. It was slightly to the right of that photo on the deck previously.

I know it should not get too much water so I'm inclined to put it back undercover for the winter but I also don't want to leave it west facing as we get full sun til about 8pm in the summer.

Is it safe to move it around seasonally?

Any advice appreciated.

Jeweller to set stone in earrings

Hey y'all, I bought some gemstones recently that cannot be fired into metal and need setting in a mount. Was going to buy empty earring studs from Etsy and DIY but won't be able to replace these stones if I wreck them.

Anyone know a jeweller in Melbourne that can do this?

Cheers

Country Road exchange without receipt

My friend bought me some pants during the staff only sale and sent them to me, I'm usually an 8-10 in pants so I went with 10. Big mistake they are huge around my waist.

She said if I try to exchange with her receipt she will get in trouble but I don't want to pay $100 for alterations.

Anyone know if they will do a straight swap of size without receipt?

Water bill weird?

Hey all, of course I have enquired with GWW and they haven't gotten back to me yet, but this is my latest bill. $315 vs $73 for less consumption. Also the consumption seems off. We are two people and use rainwater tank water for garden (just some herbs and a tree) and have two showers a day and go to work. Dishwasher once a week and the ad hoc dish and kettle boil.

Seems like a lot anyway but wondering about the weird discrepancy in bill size. For reference we moved in end August so I acknowledge the first billing there is low because of that but doesn't explain the billing surge.

TIA!

So I'm going to sound like an entitled bitch.

I have been on a manifesting journey (please no shade) and I've got a lot of what I desired.

Dream job, new dream house, health, good relationship.

But, my partner doesn't want to marry. We are financially entangled quite a lot, and to be honest if I had known this in the beginning I would not have pursued a relationship. We discussed it twice early on.

It's now 7 years in and he doesn't think it's necessary. For reference, I have no family, and I'm living out of state to most of my friends. I have lots of new friends here and I'm not lonely at all, I have a side hustle and hobbies. But him saying that makes me feel lonely and like I don't belong.

I've started pulling back wife duties as I don't think it's fair to over give in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship.

If we didn't own a house together, I would move out and we could 'date' but I'll be financially ruined if i force a sale and I don't think the relationship would survive.

I know that sounds counterintuitive, wanting to leave but wanting the relationship to survive, but I want it on the level it is, not some fantasy.

He's responsible in many ways, does his share of chores, we go on date nights, he celebrates our 'anniversary', takes things off my plate when I am needing a hand and I feel safe with him. He doesn't say I love you and doesn't want to talk about future plans.

Just bummed that the relationship I put so much into doesn't care that much for me. Can't wait to fight his family for his half of the house should something happen to him.

FML.

So it's approaching winter in Australia (Melbourne) and it's time to packdown. This week would have been perfect as it was nice weather, but I had a busy working week and didn't get home til dark most nights so didn't do it. Of course this weekend has been windy and rainy in patches so I missed a few opportunities.

Are the bees going to get more aggressive the longer I wait? I am only 6 months into the beekeeping journey. I only have one hive and super, which I just need to remove and assess how much honey they have, and do a mite check.

Ugh I'm like 8 months into vaginal estrogen cream and I'm suddenly very itchy the morning after. Just on the outside but it's intense. Doctor said it's because the skin is dry there but I'm not sure what else to do. I thought all the teething problems with this would have gone away by now?

Any relief suggestions welcome :)

Watered two days ago and were fine, didn't WFH yesterday so didn't notice til this morning that some of the leaves appear damago, kind of sloppy.

Ground is quite dense, it is not waterlogged though. They have been excellent growers til now.

A quick google didn't bring up much by way of fully identified like for like but the best answers were fungal growth or gnats.

I have removed bad leaves and now sprayed with eco fungicide so fingers crossed.

Any suggestions or corrections welcome!
