So I have my regular job and an internship that’s paid, I put the pay information for the Capital One savings account for my internship because I wanted all the money that I make from that to just be put away and properly saved, my payment app says it was deposited on Thursday but it doesn’t show any transactions on the Capital One app and I know for a fact that all the information is correct. I opened the savings account recently, so does it usually just take some time?

Today somebody tried to order the mango dragon fruit refresher blended (water and base not lemonade) and I read somewhere we can’t make it with water only lemonade or coconut milk. When I pressed the regular fresher then the blended button it didn’t allow me to make it blended. But my SSV did it anyway and said “charge it as a regular and let the barista know to make it blended” I’m confused, can we or not?

I bank with TD, got offered a credit card (I currently have capital one platinum but there’s no benefits) and I’m new to credit cards,

They just suggested me an offer for the double up credit card, should I wait and see if I can apply for a better one?

I work from home and decided that I was gonna deliver food today, the Dasher delivered my initial order to the wrong house which is actually pretty far away from my house so I’m not sure how we got that mixed up, and I know the address is right.

I placed a second order with my refund credits and the same Dasher picked it up so I called him and I was like hi can you please drop my order because you delivered my food to the wrong house last time (I tried calling him and he did not answer during the first order) and this man starts screaming at me😭😭

So I’m on drive-through and we have like 15 cars on the line (not exaggerating). We were completely peak with like five people so I’m assisting bar and doing drive alone

Some girl comes to the window and I go to hand her drink and she’s like “that’s not right” and I go OK I’m sorry what was wrong about it? She starts yelling “I said it three times oh my god in a venti cup (mind yoh it was just a triple iced espresso with a bit of milk and extra ice) and I start saying okay I’ll remake it and she’s just buggin and I’m in NO mood to handle this so I just go get my manager and she left everything ended up fine but I genuinely think that it is never that fucking serious where you need to be yelling and getting angry over coffee.

I understand that you want your coffee, a certain way and you are 100% completely allowed to order your coffee and get it how you like it however people make mistakes all the time mind you I didn’t even make her drink I just handed it to her. There’s genuinely no need to get so angry over coffee and she started yelling about how she’s been waiting 30 minutes. But I took her order a good 3 minutes before she got to the window and it’s like I’m trying my best we all are please leave me alone 😭😭 I was gonna remake the drink for her either way, but you literally did not have to start freaking the hell out

Drive throughs are sequenced. Especially during busiest hours and ur asking for “oh can I get a brown sugar shaken-“ NO U CANT DRIVE AROUND OMG

if you see there are no cars around then sure yeah we don’t rly care but if it’s 1 pm On a Saturday and you see like 12 cars in line behind u please u have to drive around the most I’ll give is an ice water or a cake pop (something not warmed tbh) but even then it’s like let us know at the speaker pls YOU CANT BE ORDERING AT THE WINDOWWWWW

I want to leave my current job I work at Starbucks but I was a server for about a year, I know the pains of it and I know the ups and downs but I am looking to go back to serving, any advice on how to find a job there?

I have a new schedule , my current one is Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays and weekends. My new one starting after the week is Mondays Wednesdays Saturdays and Sundays, this was agreed on between me and my manager and I know I signed a paper.

The new schedule just came out and I see I’m scheduled for my new hours but also Thursdays. This doesn’t work at all for me because I’m doing a summer internship and I want to know why she scheduled me and how I can go about this because I Cannot work that day anymore.

I texted her and she has not reached back out.

Please help!!! I started working here about a month ago

I started working at Starbucks a month ago and I work in a very high traffic area. I’m good with the register and warming, but I’m kind of slow on the bar. I asked for more time on the bar during down hours and I constantly ask questions to try and improve my performance.
How can I act on this because this job is getting me through college rn

My Starbucks is one of the only stores within a mile or two in an entire area - a very busy one at that. We get our first peak at 10-12 and then most likely again from 2:30-5:30. We’ve been doing our second peak with FOUR people mind you we have a DRIVE THROUGH.

So we all have head sets on and even during busiest hours front, warming, and mobile orders are all one position,

There’s TWO hot bars, one for drive and one for mobile/cafe . Our cold bar is right across from drive so sometimes whoever’s on drive is making cold drinks WHIIILE taking orders AND taking money/handing out food and drinks

And on top of that we’ve been closing with like three people.

I’m so sick and tired of it omg I don’t know what to do I don’t think anybody has said anything and I’m so irritated about it .

I’m just sharing this because I finished the episode where him and Schmitt break up and I’m sad about it.

Nico isn’t a completely awful character, but it absolutely broke my heart the way he treated schmitt, and every time he tried to communicate Nico would make it sexual.

So I have a couple questions, I’m a newer barista and not sure how this works

1. Does time off requested in advance count as use for vacation/sick time , I asked for Sunday off and got it but I wanna know if it cuts into my time off or if it’s just like a thing

2. What is the call out policy? Can I be fired for calling out one time during my 30 day period? I called in yesterday because I was throwing up the night before and I called 4 hours ahead which was the earliest I could do because we open at 5 and I started at 9. I shared my symptoms and let them know.

I have my first non training shift on Tuesday, any advice? Where should I start????
