Why do people resell pins for 2x or 3x the price??

Okay so I have this genuine question. I’m willing to listen and be educated on.
I’ve been casually collecting pins for a long while, only characters and stuff I like. I’m also aware on the process of manufacturing enamel pins I manufacture products as well. So in my head I use my selling background (I do artist alley at cons) to think about it.
But my question lies more, why do people resell their pins at triple or double the original. I’ve seen pins sold by the artist themselves for like $35 but then I see people resell same pin for like $65

I just wanna collect my favorites for my collection and bags. Wish people didn’t resell for like $100

Jp fans PLEASEEE package paper goods better

I bought and received this Pudding card from the OPTCG for my collection and I don’t know how the original sender sent this but when it arrived it arrived in this thing plastic bag. The card did curl a little but it’s terrifying to see as a collector to see an item like this which is extra prone to damage

Just left over cardboard anything would be better and it will be recycling

Jp fans haul and thoughts

This is my third package using this proxy service and I am having one more on the way. This was definitely a new experience as I’ve never received a package from any other service with an item this long.

One thing I always appreciate from Jp fans and will continue saying this is how well they packaged their items. I appreciate it when proxy services makes sure the box that holds the items aren’t too big or small for what’s inside. And once again jp fans takes care of that.

Originally when I went to go ship off my packages the box with all my other items would be way too large and long and cost me a bit of a fortune. After asking customer service on Discord, what I can do they guided me to ask them to un consolidate the package and then split it off into two and that would be cheaper. And they were quite correct! I’m still waiting on my second package for all my items, but I’ll be sure to return back with a review

Walking up to people asking for freebies

Disclaimer I’m talking about my own experience and opinion ur allowed to disagree with me

So just like many others I was handing out freebies to people at Miku expo. I’m no stranger to the concept but something that bothers is when people farm for them. Or specifically walks up asking if anyone is giving things out. I know it’s awesome to get free things but having someone run up (not casually walk RUN) to you asking if u have freebies after giving someone a sticker feels really greedy. I know some people very politely asks but I’m talking about the ones who spots you like a hawk and swoops down.

I feel like we need to remember basic manners (this goes for concert/con etiquette too) the way some people act makes they look very greedy and overall not in a good light. Please be careful because it can result in a bad interaction if u aren’t very nice, and it makes the people who are giving away things feel almost cornered like now they are obligated to give you things. Especially since I know some people tend to selectively give things away too if they are limited

Been on a hunt for tickets for nj show and wanted to see if anyone selling theirs due to things coming up before I buy one on ticket master, but ofc being aware of scammers and already getting fake screenshots, some people offer $65 for tickets.

These tickets are like high high up and are definitely on the cheaper side when comparing at Ticketmaster but it saw someone warn someone here ab someone selling for $60

just wondering if that is their sweet spot price to add to my red flags
