I just had a conversation with my fiancé about traditions/ agenda for our reception and he doesn’t really want to dance.
He’s fine with speeches, eating, music and taking pictures and going home. We’re planning to have a brunch reception from 1-5 or so, possibly no alcohol. So I’m not expecting a dance party but I never thought for one minute that I wouldn’t at least do a shoulder shimmy or side step.

We reconnected as adults and in our courting time, we didn’t attend anything that included us dancing.
So now I’m thinking 🤔 is this it?
Will this be a lifetime of no dancing?
Do I really want to have a danceless marriage? 🫨😩😆😂 (kidding)

Anyhoo, will I be so consumed with the day that I won’t hear the music or think of dancing? What else are people doing? I don’t want an hour worth of speeches 🫣, I’m bored thinking about it.

I know there’s more to life than gamification but I was like 5 days away from a new streak goal. I don’t even know how I missed it. I’ve absolutely been on here every day contributing. Not that it’s only about goals but I was excited. Now I’m not motivated to continue counting anymore.
