Dreame L10S Ultra dies just after leaving dock

Hello everyone

I have family who has this robot for 2-3 years. Now it has this issue.

It can power up if it is charging in the dock. Once it powers up, the battery indicator will rapidly go up in percentages untill its 100%. We tried leaving it charging then for 1 day.

But when it leaves the dock it instantly dies.

Has anyone had this issue? And what fixed it.

My first thought is changing the battery, but I also read it could be a main board problem.

I dont have a meter to test the battery unfortunately. And a new battery costs 50$, so would be a shame to waste that if it is the board. From my understanding, it's not easy to do a main board replacement.

Country: Denmark

Bought at Elgiganten (it's out of warranty)

Problems overtaking a left Sub reddit through r/redditrequest.

I tried to overtake this sub reddit since its been left and there is no MOD anymore. The last mod made a thread if anyone wants to overtake and i said i would request this once i got enough karma.

I do now, and i tried to make a request. but all it says is that "The subreddit r/Pickle_Pete is not eligible for request.", there is no further explenation.

But i need to know why, and how to get a MOD back on it. Who do i contact? i tried using the help center, but none of the categories seems to match.

So the Snapmaker U1 or the Bambulab X2D?

So i have been following here a lot, and done research on the side.

There is a lot of options in 3d Printing - especially if just a single colour print.

I find the changing colour on one nozzle quite inefficient and there is a lot of waste.

Then i kind of set myself to the Bambulab X2D, but it seems the dual nozzle is not both of same quality. So its hard to figure if its too much of a second grade quality or not with the second nozzle.

Then there is the snapmaker U1. its costly, but currently on sale.

Last option is just to stick to one colour only on all prints, then just change the colour pre-printing to what suits best.

What would you do? i find enclosed printers best due to the placement it will have in the house, its going to be below the Office desk, which puts it closer to the floor and therefore possibly dirtier than on a desk.

The correct printer - and timing :-)

Hello everyone

Let me start with apologizing if this resembles too much the other "i am looking for a printer" threads, i looked in a lot of them, but still feel i could use my own tailored advices.

So my main purpose with the printer would be printing semi-large figurines to paint or different fidget stuff, i have 2 kids who really like to play around with it, and one of the daughters are very creative, so i see a good oppertunity in a 3d Printer.

I feel the most attracted to a enclosed 3d printer, but the pricing and features of the bed slingers are attractive as well.

Creality sparkx is currently on sale with a CFS and 4 free filaments for € 369,00 (I am from European region)

The other choice is taking a K2 which is also on sale for € 389,00 without a CFS

I am not sure that multicolour is important, the paintable items is just grey and the other can most likely just be in some flashy colour filament.

I am not stuck on creality, it just appears to be most for the money currently.

So one is the correct printer for my interrests, the other is, would buying right now be a bad time? it seems that for creality the sale offers are good.

Struggling with recurring migraines at night? This might be worth reading :-)

I’ve been through this myself, and I want to share it in case it helps someone else <3

There was a period in my life where I had migraines almost every night. I would take Sumatriptan, which would stop the migraine temporarily, but it usually came back again the next night.

At my worst, I was having 15–23 migraines a month.

Later, doctors suspected I might have sleep apnea. My wife had actually mentioned before that she thought I might have it, but I didn’t take it seriously enough at the time. Eventually, I got tested, and it turned out that I did have sleep apnea.

The doctors weren’t sure if it was directly connected to my migraines, but after I started using a machine to help treat the sleep apnea, my migraines dropped to a much more manageable level for me — around 5–10 per month.

So if you’re struggling with similar problems, it may be worth looking into whether you could have sleep apnea as well. The doctors i had talked to about the problem with returning migraines did not mention that sleep apnea could be the problem. so i fear someone else might oversee this.

Before finding out, I was honestly panicking. I was worried about becoming too dependent on Sumatriptan, because it was the only thing keeping me functioning at work and in family life.
