Any recommendations for brushed nickel faucets that lean warmer?

Any recommendations for brushed nickel faucets that lean warmer?

I have been looking for champagne faucets that are actually champagne and not bronze at all, and this piece of brushed nickel stood out to me. Unfortunately the brand is above our budget but does anyone have a recommendation for a brand that has a very warm brushed nickel like this one?

Champagne faucets that are actually champagne?

I’m looking for champagne hardware and faucets but I’m not finding anything that is actually champagne, just bronze or gold. Does anyone know what brands carry a decent soft champagne color?

My dog was sick for 2 months, better for 1 month, and is now sick again and vets don’t know why

My 6 year old dachshund got sick in February, was better in April, and now recently has gotten sick again. I put all the tests down below but all 3 cats I’ve seen don’t know why this is. Can anyone give me any ideas as to what I should be looking for? The only things I can pinpoint before he got sick again that may have flared him back up were that my mom gave him a decent helping of plain pasta, and he used the stairs by himself which we obviously avoid due to his breed. When he flared up again I gave him an NSAID for a few days which seemed to help, but today I don’t think it did.

Symptoms: shaking, frequently licks lips, burping, eats a little grass, is slow to stand up, he walks well, doesn’t jump at food anymore but still eats well, stool is thin but formed, his tail stays tucked, his head is low, and several times when we have tried to carefully lift him he has yelped. Once I was just reaching under his chest and I lifted him just slightly while his back legs were still in the ground and I hadn’t grabbed his back end yet. My mom said twice he yelled and she felt like it was his back end that caused the yelp but we don’t know. He doesn’t not react when we touch his back stomach or hips, he just shakes no matter where we touch him. He got water in his back yesterday and did not shake it off but i could see he wanted to several times

Tests done: cbc was normal with high red blood cells, hemoglobin, and hematocrit, but his urinalysis showed slight dehydration. Kidney, liver, and thyroid numbers all good. Xray showed no calcified discs. He did come up borderline high on a clotting panel which we tested for because he got a bad hematoma from his previous blood draw and had several bruises where the vet techs tried to get his urine as well as on his nose. He didn’t have any more after that. His xray showed an enlarged spleen so he had an ultrasound that looked good, the vet said his spleen was unusually low so he thought that may be why it appears enlarged on imaging. By the time we got the ultrasound he was all better y low so he thought that may be why it appears enlarged on imaging. By the time we got the ultrasound he was all better

Does the direction of veining in this slab hurt the flow of this room?

I’m really needing help understanding how the veining in this countertop affects the shape of the room. I have a 55x22 inch vanity on the left wall of a longer narrow bathroom and I’m stuck trying to pick a countertop. I fell in love with this quartzite remnant but the veining would be vertical from the pov of the sink rather than going down the length of the vanity.

On one hand I think it helps the room because if it went down the length of the vanity it may just emphasize the narrow space. On the other hand, maybe the room needs the lines to go down the length of the vanity to flow with the space.

Would it be bad if I cut the slab at an angle so the lines are angled? What if I used the left half of the slab where the lines aren’t as straight up and down? Any opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Last time, which countertop should I choose?

I’ve narrowed it down to these 3, Tiffany quartzite, cristallo, and Taj Mahal. The Tiffany has the veins running up and down rather than the length of the vanity which concerns me but tell me what you guys think! The cristallo is lighter than the rendering. Tell me all your honest thoughts and opinions as I will be picking in the next few days or even today!

Which countertop do I choose? And does it matter which way the veining goes?

I posted in another sub asking which one I should choose and everyone is voting green. I’m struggling because while the green is gorgeous, the veining is going the wrong way in my opinion. I had ai make renderings but i couldn’t get it to turn the green countertop the right way so it looks nicer in the rendering and I don’t think everyone is considering how it would actually look facing the other way. It’s a long skinny room so the lines going the wrong way seems to me like it’s going to be an issue

Dog yelping when lifting chest

In February my 6 year old dachshund started acting very subdued and not like himself. He was shaking and sitting very still, his head was often low and tail tucked. We went to the vet and his bloodwork was perfect and we went down a rabbit hole for a possible splenic tumor that thankfully he doesn’t have. He miraculously got better and was fine until two days ago. He is walking fine and doesn’t react to me touching being his spine or neck. I’m pretty careful carrying him up and down the stairs but the last few days I have caught him using them. He was also fed a good portion of plain pasta so I don’t know if it’s gastrointestinal or musculoskeletal.

When this first happened he was proscribed carprofen which I think seemed to help but we weren’t keeping him on it due to the potential splenic tumor and bleeding risk. I carry him several times a day and he has been fine but today I went to pick him up and I lifted his chest first (back feet still on the ground I was about to raise his butt) and he yelped. My mom said he did the same earlier when she went to put him on the couch.

Could this be ivdd in his neck or something wrong in his chest? He had an xray that looked fine but it didn’t show the top of his spine and I don’t know if the vet was looking for narrowing between the vertebrae or not.

Which countertop should I choose?

I’m back again, unfortunately the vanity fell through but I had chosen the Parisian bleu. I am refinishing the vanity I already have and got a quote for $7.2k for the blue so now we are starting over again with countertops. Let me know which I should choose or if you have any advice or opinions!

How can I neutralize red oak

I’m refinishing a veneer cabinet and some red oak doors, I put one coat of walnut gel stain on the veneer and it looks great so far but it’s a little too red for my liking. I’d like to use an oil based poly because it’s in a bathroom that gets quite humid so I’m worried it will just be too warm. For the second coat of stain, is there something I can do to help neutralize the red a little? Is there a green additive I can use or another stain? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve got 55 inch oak cabinets I’m considering refinishing. How much would it cost (just a guess) for 4 new doors and 4 drawer fronts as well as hardware and stain and other materials? I was quoted $1.7k for a new vanity so I’m trying to compare costs

We’re doing a small bathroom remodel on a tight budget, and as beautiful as real zellige is, it is far too expensive. Can anyone recommend any brands that have fake zellige or if anyone else used it and can share photos/information?

I’m stuck between two countertop options as well as hardware. I know I want to use off white zellige tiles in the shower which I included examples of in the last two photos.

Image 2: Siberian with champagne hardware
Image 3: Parisian Bleu with brushed nickel

Image 6: Siberian from the website
Image 7: samples from the store, it includes Parisian Bleu as well as the hardware color it comes with, the top sample is Siberian frost which a slightly lighter than Siberian. I do not have an actual sample of Siberian
Image 8&9: both examples of what shower tile I want

Please express your opinions! I appreciate any insight
Edit: I forgot to add that I’d likely add a rug that goes with either design with I excluded it for now

We’re doing a small upstairs bathroom and picked a walnut vanity but we are stuck with just a few options for countertops. The vanity comes with this brushed champagne hardware but I don’t love it. We are not sure we want to use champagne hardware all over the bathroom. We were planning on using off white zellige inspired tiles (examples in 3&4) and something soft and neutral on the floor and walls.

I need some serious help, the blue is interesting but I fear it may be too much with an otherwise neutral bathroom and I don’t know that I could pull off brushed nickel hardware if I chose to do so. My mom prefers the top white option and I prefer the middle white option but she thinks it’s too old styled and may look green in a bigger sample. will those be too neutral in our totally neutral bathroom? Please help lol the vanity is the James Martin Amberly in 48” and we have to decide quickly

We’re redoing a small bathroom upstairs and we are needing to be very budget friendly. In terms of cabinets, we could either purchase a fully done one with countertop and sink (no faucet) or we could replace the doors and drawer fronts, change the drawer sliders, change the hardware and refinish them. In this scenario we’d still have to find a countertop, sink and faucet. We were quoted $2.7k for the cabinet we liked but we hated all of the countertop options. We could potentially just purchase the cabinets for 1.7k and source the countertop, sink, and faucet on our own.

What makes the most sense here? We don’t have enough experience in this to know which route is the best to take
