Looking for advice on engineered hardwood in Raleigh
I’m replacing my solid hardwood floors and have been considering engineered hardwood for the kitchen since it seems like a better fit for moisture, humidity changes, and maybe even radiant heat later on. My budget is around $10/sq ft installed, so I’m trying to stay realistic while still avoiding issues down the road. For those who’ve gone with engineered hardwood, what are the main things I should ask an installer before moving forward? I’d also appreciate hearing about experiences people have had with the installation process or anything you wish you knew beforehand.
