Fodmaps diet and low iron anemia

I was recently diagnosed with low iron anemia and was told to take iron supplements twice daily as my iron, ferritin, hemoglobin are all extremely low. I've also been having tummy issues which my doctor has advised me to go on a FODMAP diet starting asap.

Can anyone tell me how to have an iron rich diet plus be on the FODMAPS diet? like which foods should I avoid, which should I focus most on. When first starting the FODMAPS diet was it hard, is it hard to follow?

looking for any input or advice

thank you in advance

Should I cancel my Optik TV?

About 12 years ago I signed up for the TV and Internet bundle and got a free TV, but now we don't use our Optik TV box, we havent actually used it for the past year but I'm still paying $69 per month for it. Does anybody know if I would have any issues cancelling it even though years ago when I signed up it was a TV and Internet bundle?

Trying a no spend month

I'm going to try a no spend month this month. I had over $1000 in my saving which is the most I've had saved in years, this was due to a raise and retro pay from my job. My plan was to keep this money in savings and build it up. But this past month was my birthday month which entailed some shopping and a trip to the mountains. And because I am terrible with money I ended up spending my entire savings over the span of 30 days. It was spent on eating out, ordering take out, clothing, make up, trinkets etc. so now I'm feeling hopeless "Sigh". Has anyone tried a no spend month? how did it go? also any tips on being better with money? I'm pretty sure I have undiagnosed ADHD so that could be where my poor spending habits are coming from.

Does it bother you if your child is in the background of another parents photo?

I've always been respectful when taking photos of my child to be sure other peoples children aren't in the background or if at a birthday party the other parents don't mind if I take photos of my child with her friends. I myself don't mind if other parents take photos with my child but I know for some people that can be a hard no. Anyway my question is if a school or childcare facility takes photos of the kids during the day and has them up in the building would you be okay with another parent taking a photo of that photo on the wall if their own child is in it as well as yours?

My child's school does this and there have been some adorable photos of my kid with other kids in the school, I've wanted so badly to have these photos in my phone for memories for my child of kindergarten but I also want to be respectful of privacy of other students, so I've always just admired when there and that's it. These photos have since been taken down and new ones put up, none with my child in them and I'm sad that I don't have the photos now to keep as memories but also feel that i was doing the right thing.

Thoughts?

My fear of wasps is ruining my life

I am so afraid of wasps, I always have been. As a child about 12 years old I was swarmed and stung 6 times in a span of about 5 seconds, I also stepped on a wasp bare foot at an outdoor pool when I was 5 both instances I can remember so vividly. I am 36 now. and since age 12 I've been stung once about 3 years ago, a wasp had landed on my chest and not knowing it was a wasp I tried to brush it off and it stung me. My fear is getting worse and worse every year. I'm at the point where I can hear phantom buzzing almost all the time which makes me all sketched out, I cant enjoy the outdoors because I am constantly on high alert for wasps, my daughter loved being outside but I cant stay calm enough to even take her to play in our front yard because the wasps are everywhere, I feel that my fear is wearing off on her too and I hate that. When we go to restaurants everyone always wants to sit out on the patio, I ened up filled with so much anxiety that I wont eat, I can't sit still, I'm constantly jumping up and running away, and I feel nausous due to the fear. I hate this and I hate that nobody takes me seriously everyone either laughs, rolls their eyes at me or gets mad at me for "acting like a lunatic" I love summer but I cant enjoy it because I am too afraid of wasps. I don't know how to fix this as every year it gets worse. I went from being able to lay in the sun in my yard to hiding in my house because I'm too scared. We also have a pool in out complex and I can't even take my kids to it because the wasps are so bad there. Like I feel physically ill when I see a wasp, I get shaky and have a literal panic attack. The way they buzz past my ear, or accidentally slam into my head or arms just freaks me out so much. wasps and hornets, the big black and white ones are the only bugs I am afraid of.

what can I do to get over this?! I am desperate

Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine not working

So our 15 year old Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine stopped working the other day, I was doing laundry and it was making a super loud grinding noise, when the load was done it was sopping wet so I tried to do a rinse and spin cycle on it and the lid would just lock, make loud grinding noises again then unlock and stop. I tried doing an entire wash cycle on it to see if that would fix it and it took over 3 hours to go through the cycle but again didn't spin the water out of the clothes. I'm not sure what to do, any advice? I've already tried unplugging the machine for 10 mins then plugging it back in

Anybody hear any more news on the job reclassification for admin staff?

Just wondering if anybody has heard anything regarding our job reclassification for admin staff? I've been hearing rumors that its going to come down to who has their MOA certification and who doesn't and I just want to clear the air as many of us who obtained our positions well before the Medical Office Assistant was a requirement would be completely screwed over if that was the case.

Sorry I should add my question is regarding HIM

Best shampoo and conditioner for oily hair/itchy scalp?

I'm looking for a good shampoo and conditioner to use. I currently use Tresemme but my hair gets oily so fast and my scalp is constantly itchy. I've always had good luck with Aveda but it costs an am and a leg to buy, although it does usually last me an entire year if I buy the big bottles. But I'm looking for more suggestions.
