I’ve been on two dates with this guy, and whenever we’re together in person, everything feels great. The conversations flow naturally, we have a good time, and it feels like there’s a genuine connection between us.

The problem starts when we’re apart. Most of the time, there is little to no communication from his side. I’m usually the one bringing up the idea of seeing each other again and trying to make plans. He agrees to the dates, but when the actual day comes around, I often don’t hear from him at all. His texting also feels very dry and inconsistent.

What confuses me is that he still reaches out every now and then to check in and see how I’m doing. At the same time, he has made it very clear on both dates that he doesn’t want me talking to or seeing anyone else.

I’m 18 and he’s 24. I know his behavior is giving me mixed signals, but I have a soft spot for him and I’m scared to move on. Part of me keeps hoping things will become more consistent because of how good things feel when we’re together in person.

I’ve been looking into weighted plushies lately and I’m curious what people here recommend.

What is the best weighted plushie in your opinion? I’m mostly looking for something that feels soft, comforting, well-made, and not too heavy to use while relaxing or sleeping.
