Any aspirant who was in corporate, earning decent left it and started preparing for UPPCS? How is it going? And why you left it?

So, I am working in bangalore and I am just not feeling or have strength of upskilling continuously. This is be also because I feel I am not like the other corporate people who feel they like the work. I feel like its something I don't want to do. Like I just drag myself everyday even if there's minimal work. And don't know about respect or what. I feel I should dp something else. What do you think and anyone who had same feeling. Here, I will atleast contribute in people development, get respect etc.

So it getting a little difficult.

I have been studying like 4 hr everyday for GATE CSE for around 15 days straight. But cannot make myself study for more than than. Someday its five or six but very rare. For the last 2 days I haven't been able to study for more than 2 hours. How to increase the number of hours and not feel like overwhembled and tired. Plus I am only solving lectures questions and a little of pyq's. What should be my path ahead? And how should I proceed?

Anyone like who was in corporate left it because they didn't like the culture and came to their home to start something.

I have newly joined corporate but feel like I do not belong here. I don't like the culture of being sitting in one room with laptops on and constant checking the email, locked up in the room, have to sit there even if you don't like it, etc. Earning like 21k per month with all that thing puts mental pressure too. I actually don't know what to do from here. Anyone in the same situation as me who did something different to escape? Or someone with remote work having not to deal with this shit?

Also I am not the man who likes to party, eat burgers, pizzas, hangout, bars, disco, go to inox to watch movies, just a boring man who just want to do something he would love.

My gate score is 404 in GATE CSE obc-ncl. I think I should apply for only special rounds in CCMT. So if I do not apply in regular rounds will there be any problem in applying for special rounds? Moreover I think DTU is not possible for me at this score.

I have been watching videos some videos regarding ccmt and found out that I should apply in special rounds. Am I correct? Also what do you guys suggest?

Is GATE DA really a scam?

Have been reading previous posts and people are like 650 rank pe kuch nhi mila. Etc etc. I was thinking about preparing it and shift my focus a little bit more here but I am scared because I feel I would not be able to complete my GATE CSE syllabus. So wanted to know the right thing from this sub.

How should I manage GATE with job?

I am working in TCS now. Its 7:30-6:30 around for me. But the main problem is when I come home I don't feel the energy to study. I have been constantly devoting around 3 hrs of study only everyday. I tried to study in my office but when someone saw it they directly called me out and thus was not able to study because of that fear now in the office. I had 404 score in gate cse in 2025 but I am still a newbie. I do not have notes as such. So I was asking how to study as I am not able to devote time to problem solving as such. Only writing notes but that too takes a lot of time. What should my approach be? I know the competition will increase.

Can you tell me some home state government jobs especially in regulatory bodies which I should give exam.

I have come to love Bihar when I felt how tough it is to work outside. My main aim is a government job that pays me well and love gives me time to live rather than living a mess life outside. I value respect more thus want to get a govt job and in this way maybe be a part of Bihar development.

Should I follow this path? I also thought of trying for State civil services. But I don't know what should I do.
