Waze minimalized window like gmaps
Yeah so I'm looking for a solution to make it work like gmaps. On Android 16 the app just closes. I would like to fix this somehow. Most of you are probably on iOS but I'll give it a try.

Especially for the X9/Pro/Ultra users. How fast does it actually charge ? Either my charger is faulty or PPS is just superior? Because when I use the 120W Brick it spikes up to 70W for one second, drops to 50 for maybe one minute and then chills around 30. My 45W PPS Anker provides sustainable 40W from the start to the end. It's like 47min 12-100% charge Vs over one hour with the Supervooc one. I want to try a 100W PPS Brick next to max out the PPS range up to 55W.
For those European buddy's that don't get a charger in box (like me) there is a sale in amazon right now for the realme 120w charger. 18 bucks. Same protocol and yes it works.
I think this is more OS than App related, that's why I post it here.
Also, even OriginOS handles this better which is weird.
The Apps mostly doesn't open in the background to do the uploads. I have to open it manually and refresh. Even just opening the app doesn't trigger any sync mechanism.
- App is locked in recent Task changer
- App has no Battery restrictions
- App was toggled from from system "unused apps" management.
I Upgraded from .207 to .304. Same behaviour. Power mode also makes no difference. Is ADB the only solution?
Yeah that's a boring topic and I was indeed bored but this result is way higher than ip17pm if checked in the geekbech charts. Can some else confirm by testing it too? June patch btw
So I'm trying to make the battery app working but it kills the task every hour or so. Even when I'm opening it manually in between to make it stay open. Yes I gave all permission and followed all available instructions to stop it from doing so. I even deactivated the phone manager background battery drain monitor feature. OOS16 hasn't behaved this way. Do I need adb or whatever to make it work ?
So I just got an Oppo FX9U for a really good price. Used/open Box. But its in such an ideal condition, probably even brand new and wasn't ever set-up before. I want to find any information that gives hints, if it was ever used or how often charged. Without root please. I already made a error report in dev settings and found out it's manufacturer date.
I appreciate any further hints, thanks
I found out that I have to install the island workspace app to even show me this option. Otherwise OriginOS blocks it completely. But even when activated the second toggle doesn't work. Any work around?
And "connection without VPN gets blocked" ?
It's deactivated in OriginOS while ColorOS has this feature. Its important to get the right information from someone who uses it this way.
Thanks in advance
I just made some research and were surprised that if you ignore the camera system you probably get great specs in every other department.
For example:
- No colour shift Display if tilted and lowest brightness screen of 0,5 nits in darkness. High PWM DC Dimming and great colour accuracy.
- Speakers definitely in the top and probably even better than Oppo FX9U
- Newest Goodix Fingerprint reader gen 2
- Fastest charging and one of the biggest battery.
- Snapdragon and not MTK
- Alert Button
- Cleanest OS (Global at least) besides Google Pixel OS. And Fastest updates for a Chinese brand.
- hi-res audio
Am I missing something or got wrong ?
If someone has that phone and can confirm some perks please comment, thanks
This Ultra phone seems to be the absolute top-of-the-line model for this year, but is there really anything it doesn't have? Is the price the only downside? Or could there be something else?Ever comparison pictures I see the Oppo wins against every competitor but suddenly another review pops up where it suddenly struggles with video and shows heavy processing in zoom shots, sometimes even loosing against S26U.
So what's the current state of this particular phone ? Is it worth the ≈1,5k USD or nah ? I bet the resell value drops down to 1k after one year.
I haven't found anyone doing serious reviews about the following points because it's all about the cameras.
- Fingerprint sensor
- PWM dimming
- Haptics (Vibration motor)
- Cellular Connectivity
- Speakers (praised in the early release days but many user complain that they're not up for that price.
- Real or not Real RAW output
- Comparisons of the newest ColorOS version vs OneUI (for example) in functionality and what's really missing in features.
I seriously consider to buy a Samsung again because I somehow cannot justify this pricetag for me. No CN isn't an option, I need the whole Google service package included. It's not a foldable, just a plain candy bar Smartphone. And...it's an Android.
Greetings, it's my first Xiaomi and I heard many bad things about HyperOS.
I'm coming from OriginOS to HyperOS btw
Well, it's actually really bloated (9 games, 4 third party apps and some Xiaomi own things) most of can be uninstalled, onlz those Google related own apps are non-removable which is weird.
Also I kinda dislike that IOS like skin, especially how we don't get an option to change the system font colours and swipe on the right side to acces the notifications.
Other than that ? Solid ! It feels weirdly comfy for a 6,9' phone and actually lightweight.
I'm satisfied with the charging speed, the speakers are outstanding, strong haptics and the screen is actually better than people say. Bright enough for every scenario and vivid colours. Lower Res on paper but it's not recognisable. I say that because our S23+ has also around 400ppi and u can see the pixels. Looks like Xiaomi using different tech here.
Camera ! It obviously relies on absolute minimal post processing. I'm coming from Vivo X300 and I'm used to the absolute opposite. Also I have never seen such good accurate colour retention ever on a phone.
The System itself has some animation errors when closing an app but other than that it's soooo fast and snappy.
Oh and the deep Collab of Xiaomi with Google on global feature rollout gave the Gemini in Google maps, I have waited for this for years and right now Xiaomi has this feature too, Vivo not.
Just wanted to share my experience.
This phone is within my options as my next phone because it checks out on form factor, ergonomic, charging speed and speakers. But I saw that it has serious issues with OIS/EIS across all lenses ?
Also I'm from EU and would like to know if Honor updates their devices monthly when they're flagships.
Thanks
I want to get rid of my Vivo X300 due to it's quirks, especially their OS and I'm looking at something with bigger screen again.
It must be Chinese since Im a sucker for their fast charging. I had really good experience with Oxygen a but you guys know what's going on with that brand right now. Oppo Find X9 pro is also a great option but it costs the same as a Xiaomi 17U here while having better speakers and camera but slower charging, smaller battery and not that fine ColorOS.
Another one is the Honor Magic 8 pro which checks out on most things with its 7 years of OS too but I heard they shut down their support for their last Gen flagship really fast and it's post processing is not the best.
I would actually like to the the Oppo Find x9 but it's shipped only in June and the price is 50% over the devices I listed. please help, thanks
