Hey guys! I'm an IB alumni math tutor who got a 7 in AI HL in M25.

I am currently pursuing a math degree at the top university in my country and I was also the teachers assistant for the math teacher at my school. I have had a lot of experience teaching students who are especially weak in math and bringing them up to a high 6/7 in just a matter of a few months. even my math teacher during DP said my entire class's average grade increased by 2 because I was teaching them after school.

I'm just really interested in math teaching and pedagogy and bringing out mathematical thinking in students.

I am offering a bootcamp for the summer for two months for AI SL and HL. We'll go over past paper questions and how to answer them for the exam and how to use the GDC etc. I'll also teach the math needed for each question as we go, virtually completing the entire AI SL course and probably half of it for AI HL. The AI HL course is way too long for 2 months but the AI SL course can work.

This will give you a head start in DP for math and you'll be on track to get a 7 on your DP1 final mock which will be used as your predicted grade to college apps.

Hey guys. Im an IB math tutor who graduated with a 7 in AI HL and a 7 in IB MYP Extended Math.

Is 8 dollars per hour a high rate for students? I'm seeing that most tutors in the market charge 25-45 dollars per hour. The lowest is about 15 dollars. I want my tutoring to be affordable to at least most people so that price isn't a factor for someone to not get a math education.

At what rate per hour would you be comfortable with taking math tutoring?

I'm just trying to get a sense of what people think about this.

I graduated M25 with a 7 in Math AI HL. It can be a very challenging course and some questions can leave you truly dumbfounded and there are barely any resources for them.

Theres also a way to solve eigenvalues and eigenvectors on the calculator that I figured out during my time in DP if anyone would like to know.
