Full circle. Went from solar lover, to automatic elitist, and back to Promaster fanboy, from a chance encounter

Full circle. Went from solar lover, to automatic elitist, and back to Promaster fanboy, from a chance encounter

My wife has been a fan of citizen watches for a while and we happened to walk into a citizen outlet today, looking for her. Happened to spy this promaster tough, and couldn’t help but try it on. Loved it instantly. As a military guy, it just checked so many boxes, and was titanium. When the salesman told me it was 50% the hook was set, and I had no choice. This watch is absolutely perfect for what I want. I was about a week away from picking up a Longines spirit pilot and I’m so glad I hadn’t already pulled the trigger on it.

[SRPG57] cannot seem to find aftermarket bracelets anywhere. Suggestions?

I am planning on purchasing the penguin monster, but always like to add a good aftermarket bracelet to my Seiko watches. I usually can find one that specifically states it will fit on that model. For my Turtle I went with uncle straps and it’s perfect. Any siggestions? Does any 20mm bracelet work?

Don’t you love it when the dial matches your clothes?

A little promotion gift from my wife. The turtle is the most comfortable watch I’ve ever worn!

[SRPE05] Wife got me a promotion gift! Couldn’t be happier

Found out I was getting promoted, and I came home a few days later to this sitting out, and an awesome Uncle straps bracelet to go with it!

[Discussion] jobs that actually still need watches as tools.

I find myself in a unique position, that I think most people in this day and age don’t find themselves in. I actually need a watch as an actual tool. I am in the military and I often find myself not able to have my phone with me and need accurate time. This unique scenario is not so common anymore and watches have become less of a tool to the average person. So, I was wondering what professions still actually need watches as actual tools? I’m very interested to know

[SPB255J1] love this watch. Looking for my next Seiko now. Just narrowing it down

Love my black edition Seiko. Not a bad watch to start my automatic watch journey with. Think I’m either doing a monster, turtle, or king samurai next. Which would you pick?

[Recommendation request] Narrowed down my search for an every day watch. Any thoughts?

Narrowed down my search for a daily watch for work. Any thoughts on what I should choose?

Been looking for a promotion present for myself. I need something that will look good in the office, but also can take the occasional beating from swimming, hiking, shooting, and some somewhat extreme climates. Here is what I narrowed it down to. Any thoughts on which I should choose, reviews from people that have had these watches, or other suggestions.

Looking for recommendations

So, I have a problem. I have a physically demanding job (military) but have recently gotten into watches. There are reasons why I can’t always just wear my Garmin, outside of just wanting to have a cooler watch on my wrist. So, I would like some good recommendations on microbrand watches that will look good, and can handle the occasional swim, mid, cold, run, crawl, and trek through the woods. Any thoughts?
I like the Tudor ranger look, if this helps narrow things down. Was thinking about a traska summiteer, or lorier falcon, but they seem to not be in stock at the moment.
Budget is around $700, but would be willing to go to $1000 if I love it

Need help with suggestions for my running playlist

I’m not plugged into this type of music, but I do LOVE a good end song for when I run, but I need to expand my playlist. I mainly enjoy the female vocals songs. Any suggestions that have a good tempo?
