Some random ideas for new magics

I saw many people asking for more magics in this game and am glad that devs also plan to change the magic system in 1.0. What kind of magics would you want devs to consider?

I'll add mine here:

- Some lighting magic: summoning a wisp that works like a torch.

- Trap magic: like Runic Trap in Outward.

- Geomancy magic: first click targets the ground/wall, second click targets an enemy to convert the voxel into a stone bullet/spike to skewer the enemy.

Newbie questions regarding difficulty settings

Hi all, I have just bought the game today and played around in Survival mode. My character died of starvation before I even reached Long Keep. Even tweaking the starvation time to max (20 min) feels too short. What are your settings to make the survival system feel realistic? Should I just turn off the starvation mechanic altogether?

I need help deciding which game to go for

I'm a hardcore survival-action offline game solo player who also loves the immersion of an open-world RPG. Summer sales are on and it is hard to pick out a new game to stick to for the next 200 hours (at least), especially when these don't have a demo version to try out. If you have played any of these before, could you please give me your thoughts on them?

  1. Bellwright (I love the realism, but heard that the combat felt... unimpactful and clunky. Devs said they would revise that, though. Also, having base defense gameplay sounds great)

  2. Aska (it is in the same vein as Bellwright but has a different approach to combat)

  3. Enshrouded (I love the voxel-based world, but heard that the world felt dead and NPCs were like placeholders)

  4. Crimson Desert (most expensive of the bunch, not on sale either, but the combat looks the best among these. Many NPCs don't actually have a daily schedule but they still offer good atmosphere value)

If you have any other recommendation, please fill me in.

Devs, please come back. Your work is not done.

Base defense is nowhere to be seen despite being asked for in years. The tech is already present. Just put a summoning crystal, move it slowly from a random settlement using caravan mechanic to the player's base. For a $98 game with full DLC, that is not much to ask, is it?

Questions about the revamped main quests

I'm planning to start a new Season character to play the main quest from start to finish. How far is the progress with revamping the main quests? I saw they did Balenos in 2022, Serendia and Calpheon in 2024. If I stop after Calpheon, will that be enough EXP to get to lv 60 for a Season character?

Is there a weight & inventory transfer coupon? (Not the Equilibrium scroll)

Hi, I just want to transfer weight and inventory from an old under-leveled character. Is there an item to do that?

Is converting settlement culture implemented in vanilla game?

Hi. I came back to Bannerlord after 2 years due to an update breaking my mods. Now I only play with hair mods to avoid similar things happing again. I vaguely remember a patch introducing settlement culture change, but I may be wrong. Just want to confirm whether it is in game.
