Just got this wonderful dude for my birthday, but I don’t know what to name him!

He’s a wild republic jumbo cheetah and he’s perfect. Very nicely detailed, super soft and a great cuddle buddy. He has a beautiful and expressive face with a high quality, silky-soft print and a nice long tail. He’s 30 inches long (~55 including his tail) and that’s like my perfect size for a stuffed animal. I was able to get him on sale for around $60 which I think is a pretty great value. Ive already their jumbo African leopard for 2 years and I wanted something similar. All I need now is a good name! I was thinking Apollo but I’m open to anything.

Obrigado, Lisboa, por uma viagem tão maravilhosa!

I am currently visiting Portugal for two weeks and I stayed in Lisboa for 4 nights and it was truly incredible. I am from New York in the US and I am so lucky to be able to visit such a special and unique city. Thank you Portugal for being so welcoming and I hope if you visit the US we are able to return the favor. 🇵🇹🇺🇸

Does anyone have a copy/PDF of the NYC DOT Express Bus Maps from the mid 1990s?

All I can find on it are some old forums, including some responses from someone who was at NYC DOT at the time and worked on this map but this is one of only a few grainy photos that exist online, dated to 2012. Please help me find this, thanks!

New World Center, Andersville

From my creative world I've been working on for a little bit. Mostly inspired by modernist architecture found the US. Each building has a fully built interior with most of them being 10-40 story offices with a 15 story luxury hotel (slide 6) and an adjacent apartment complex (slide 8). A bi-level underground mall (slides 3 and 7) with 30+ stores, a movie theatre and a food court sits below the complex with connections to each of the buildings. The complex also contains two elevated light metro stations (slide 4). Slide 5 shows a diagram of the complex with its buildings and their respective locations. Hope you like it!

Some of my favorite cars of time

Addressing the elephant in the room-I do not care what anyone says but I think it is one of the coolest things ever that Ford took one of the most boring and forgettable cars ever and stuck a purpose-built fully aluminum DOHC Yamaha V8 in it. They really created something there, didn’t they 😭

[SRII Dodge Viper GTS ACR] Spotted in New Hope, PA

Honestly cars like this are pretty commonplace in this town as I was able to see several other cars of similar rarity and notoriety including old an air-cooled 911 Turbo and a C7 ZR1. However, this Viper was definitely my favorite even if the wheel choice isn’t ideal.

2008 Westchester Bee (NY) Orion V still going strong!

These are some of the Orion Vs ever made and supposedly the last diesel ones ever. It seems like only 20-30 are still in service only on the BxM4C route from White Plains to Madison Square Park, Midtown Manhattan. I always love seeing them! Picture taken at E 79th/5th today.

Is it me or with the new update everything is super laggy?

My computer had started to struggle to run my DC save as it approached 700+ stations but it was still manageable as of a couple days ago. However, with the new update every input takes 15+ seconds to process and especially when trying to build more track fps drops to what feels like the single digits. Anyone else experiencing this?
